The power went out at 2:45 and just came back on a few minutes ago. Everything all secured for now. Only used 2.5 gallons in my genny. Gotta refill 2 fivers tomorrow. I have 11.75 gallons on hand including the genny for the next outage. I prefer to have 17 gallons + the genny.
Mowing has become more of a chore, than it is stress relief. Tractors are getting old, have to spend time and money keeping them up.Rereading, looking for the question.
Mowing is indeed a chore, but also can be Zen, think time. I have to be careful asI often get a wild idea in my head that morphs into a project - think $$$.
To mow, or not to mow. What's the question?
Thomas got the message, without the question.
Don't mowe as often.
Go bigger.
Get quota someone will mow.
Down size acres.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, SpeedQueen offers a no lock lid model. You have to specify it. They are $1500. But with hope, you can will it to your kids. For weeks our dependable Maytag has been leaking about a quart of water. Today I took it apart and found out the seal is bad under tub which is above the transmission. A repairman I spoke with said not worth repair because of labor involved. I'm debating whether to try repair myself.
What we hate about new washers is lid locks unlike old one. Old one we could wash & start all over again for longer wash.
Anyone ever replaced a tub seal?
You did pay a ticket in the form of towing fees. The tow trucks often share the proceeds with the neighborhood or business they tow from.47 going to 83.
Sodamo, congrats on the new girl.
Mostly, the sheriff came and authorized the tow. Interesting that I didn't get a parking ticket.
Yesterday morning was 39F, so hauled butt to the mountains to test out my newest parking technique...perfectly between the white lines in the SNP designated parking lot.Had a good, long hike with Della, making more progress on my Shenandoah 500 challenge. Perfect weather, waterfall, huge rock cliff and surprised to see no one else...but these were 2 pretty obscure trails.
I guess we are getting what Ford wants to give New York.We will be a while yet. Hydro One says 11 PM tomorrow night at our place on Kawagama Lake.
