More time than I care to count ...How much time do you reckon you've spent splitting and hauling wood to the house?
But to your (possible) point - my order of priorities:
1. Ensure there is some way to heat the house. Getting the splitter done would facilitate that ... it would actually allow me to get ahead of the game - given I'm spending more time splitting - by far - than I am cutting, hauling, etc.
2. Explore solutions to fix the gas furnace.
Since no. 2 above is a bit of a crapshoot- and since it's somewhat chilly out at the moment - I'm pretty certain my order of priorities is correct for my present situation.
To do no. 2 - to the neglect of no. 1 - would not go over well with the local crowd (of 1) here.
