Did have some more help show up today. Managed 3/4 of the building roof before getting rained out. Not bad considering I ended up with a 2 hour run to the quick care. While putting on the first top side I managed to hang my arm on the corner of a sheet of metal. Cut me to the muscle for about 1/2". Ended up with 3 stitches.

Think I did pretty good I made it to 31 before I got my first set of non-surgery stitches. Probably should have had some before now and probably wouldn't have had these except for the wife's insistence.

Came back home and went back to work. Now my arm is starting to hurt. May have to slow down tomorrow.

Hope y'all's days were better than mine.

OUCH!!!!

Wherever I work with sheet metal, I'm always concerned, leather gloves, try to take extra time.
Sounds like a bad cut, watch for infection.
Otherwise, sounds like you had a good day.

Yikes. That had to hurt. Sheet metal can be so sharp. I've had cuts before, but never like that.

Hope that heals up for you quickly.

Hmmm, wonder if I was estimating wrong? I was looking at 50# rye grass and 50# Bahia per acre.

RNG, That is a lot of 3 gallon buckets when I am looking at throwing out 600#'s of seed. By the time I throw out fertilizer with one spreader, change hoppers, throw out seed, then pull a chain drag behind me to cover the seed, it will be a full day. Of course as soon as I do that, the rain will stop so I will need time for my rain dancing. And NO!!! Before you ask I will not video me dancing in the fields.

300UGUY, What kind of goats do you raise? I think I have convinced my wife to part with her fainters in lieu of the zebu's... of course I am keeping my kiko's :D

TXDon, that would be enough firewood to last me 2-3 years. And I am SOooooo jealous of your grapple.

I don't really raise goats. We got a pair of pygmy goats about 20 years ago. A neighbor gave them to us because he could not take care of them. He brought them to Michigan from Kentucky in the back of his Lincoln Town car. We have one of the progeny left, he is 15, and pretty crippled up. We are going to let him live out his time here, where he was born. He is stubborn, and goofy. I named him after my father in law....:)

When I work with sheet metal, I wear long sleeves and gloves. I wear gloves a lot anyway, but I had a couple of bad cuts when I was younger. It made a believer out of me.

New stadium at A&M has suites that go for $20 million I hear.

I used to go to UM games for $7. Detroit Pistons in the 70's, $3 for a bleacher seat. Last time I took my dad to a Tiger game, it was $65 for a nosebleed seat.
