51 and the rain is coming down. Should see 63 later so let the wood stove go out last night.

May do a little "fine tuning" Christmas shopping with my wife, then roast coffee to give as Christmas presents.

Yes, skid loader are two very nice words when put that close together, and in that order. Mini-ex, too. Come by here on your way home from Drew's. :)

71 at 6AM going to 82 and just a 30 % chance of rain. It is suppose to be 89 and sunny on Christmas day, just not right. Came in from the shop last night and the wife was all happy that she got gifts all wrapped... Ah, Dear? Did you take pictures so we can remember what we made who and what kind of wood? So sorry guys I can't show off my artistic side except for a few when they unwrap them.

Bubbies, so what kind and size of SS did you get? Track or tire?

Drew, how thick is your asphalt? How wide and what type of base do you have? And why would you want to seal coat it? And Drew, everything eats fruit. What's worse is they then poop leaving you lots of clean up or a smelly orchard. I laugh when I hear city folks complain about cleaning up after their dog. HAhaha, own a horse or bovine!

Eric, try changing out one of those toilets when you can't stand up in the stall. Dumbest design some engineer did... Oh yeah, your an engineer? :D

Don, sounds (like that?) like a conspiracy.

Track machine case brand radial lift

Anything more than two inches of asphalt compacted is foolish money especially on a driveway unless you are bringing in eighty thousand pound loads. Stone base is the key as asphalt will not support its own weight. Sealing helps protect the asphalt and if cracking prevents water from entering the cracks ultimately working its way down to the stone base. To much sealer is like to much paint. Personally would say wait three or four years before sealing and then every three or four years afterwards

The mini to me is more fun to run and you are welcome to come play with them as well. I think I have to many toys especially when it comes to maintaince

infamy! too many toys? impossible

four inches of asphalt on a totally redone base. not surprised that concrete truck broke edges but how to fix? Bag of patch from Lowes? Put 2x4's along side as a straight edge? I understand issues of too much sealer. Plus important I don't get a load of radioactive Chinese sealer...

Good morning! 44˚ foggy.
Drew edge matters to me also. You want the place to look like a fresh haircut after you mow and weed eat. Maybe you need to find a curb man, he would understand. Here is a pick of my edging before the pavers were laid.

Good Morning! 52F @ 5:30 AM. Windy early with showers becoming more intermittent for the afternoon. High 59F. S winds at 20 to 30 mph, decreasing to 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

The rain plots from Wunderground say almost 2" fell from 10 PM to midnight yesterday, but I didn't hear a thing. That would make over 3" for the day. If I don't see it in the gravel of the driveway this morning, I'll suspect some kind of computerized brain fart.

More desk work for today, maybe get out on the motorcycle if the showers abate. Supposed to be nice tomorrow, so maybe I'll just try to be patient.

Enjoy the day everyone!
