Good morning! 68˚ warming up to 78˚ and is suppose to be sunny.

I washed the light gray seat covers in my truck yesterday, the seats look new again. The 2008 cloth seats underneath have only seen a few days of sunlight and still look brand new. I used to make fun of people who used seat covers. Now I'm one of those people.

Good Morning! 47 and foggy at the moment. Headed to 59 with some rain. The weather folks say we are going to shift into a winter pattern after the first of the year. The odds are that is going to hold true but they certainly didn't predict the November/December weather we've had. Enjoy the day!

56 this morning and headed to 68 today. Rain on its way. Half inch forecast.

Take care of birds. Then run some errands and finish Christmas shopping.

Lit a brush pile yesterday so I've got to go see about it. Time to get dozer back out. Goal is to get a large enough bed of coals and large logs burning that it lives through the rain forecast. Sometimes it works sometimes it don't.

66 warm degrees going up to 74 today in rain all day, over an inch predicted. Glad I got all my stone spread yesterday. My dentist is on vacation all week, not unreasonable but a crown he installed is now very unhappy, my cheek all swollen up and I'm trying to decide whether to wait or go see another dentist cold. The latter alternative when either a new crown or root canal is needed is not attractive, since I'm not going back to this dentist. I would have thought the dentist's answering machine would have offered another doctor for emergencies. My old one did, not this one apparently.lf it doesn't get any worse, some Anbesol and chewing on the other side is the plan. I have an idea though this may not get better... In the old days they'd just yank the tooth out. Now they want reconstructive work costing over a thousand a tooth. My dentist drives a nice car... on to a better topic, hopefully a day to get caught up on inside projects. going to be so warm the next few days, hard to believe I'm likely to have to put the a/c back on. A complete wet washout of a day.

Drew. That's an almost identical complaint my wife had. Tooth crowned back in the spring. But dentist did a little too much grinding. Now infected and needed a root canal. Still swollen after a week of antibiotics. But they did the root canal yesterday. Tooth still hard to numb. She said face and ear numbed but tooth didn't. They did tell her she had an extra root canal in the tooth. Very rare, so doctor took extra pictures to show off. She had 4 canals instead of 3.

Have learned one thing over the years. When looking at root canals. GO TO A SPECIALIST!!!! This guy only does root canals and in an hour he was done. One visit. She still has to go back to regular dentist and get the crown fixed. As he just did a temporary filling.

Morning ... 52.3F and overcast, with a little drizzle/mist ... high today is predicted to be 67F ...

Got all the PVC cut yesterday for the UG filter for the 2nd 55g tank ... also got the 204 5/64ths holes drilled in the branch legs, and most everything glued up.

The filter uses mostly 1/2 and a little 3/4 PVC and is based on a manifold design, with the supply at the center rear, feeding four crosses between a couple of tee's.

Also made up another set of disconnects for the 2nd filter, using a pair of PVC ball valves and unions.

Hope to get the top trim siliconed back onto the tank later today. Hafta wait until Squeak settles down for a nap ... otherwise it could get messy.

Also need to make another trip up to the shed and grab the ramps so I can get under The Woman's car ...

Enjoy the weather ...
