This is weird...my wife has never had any interest in computers or electronics, but last nite she went to Best Buy and came home with a new Iphone, a Toshiba Thrive tablet, a Verizon 4G wireless adapter, and a Bose Sounddock.

Should I be wondering if she is having an affair....:laughing:

She buys nice stuff!! I'd reconsider the ban on xmas presents!!!

Good morning all. Fairly nice here although just above freezing, will warm up a bit later. Got a friend coming over soon to move and resort my lumber pile. Sold a lot of it so now have room to repile by size. Heavy stuff though, full 2 inch thick by 6 -8-10-12 inch's wide and some as long as 20 feet, all of it is fir.

Coffee is in the pot. 32 degrees this morning. Light snow heading to 35 then some sun. Off to my mothers place today to help decorate her place for the holidays.

32 degrees here right now, spent much of yesterday cutting up the broken off cedar tree limbs from the storm for bonfire wood, dragged the brush parts back to my burn pile, and heaped up more snow for the kids next door. Have no idea what I am going to do today and don't really care all that much either. LIFE IS GOOD.

We never give each other Xmas gifts as it's impossible to find something we don't already have in one form or another...

The wife and I have not exchanged Xmas gifts in at least 25 years either. I guess we always figured if we wanted something bad enough we would fined a way to get it. Makes Xmas shopping a lot easier also. Funny though, I buy a tractor and tell everyone it's for my wife. My wife buys a JD Gator and tells everybody it's for me. Hey it works for me.

Wife used to mow with my Deere 318 all the time, when I purchased my 4210 she said fine go ahead and buy it as long as it is something I can drive (hydro and ps) but she has never sat on it. She purchased a Honda ATV back in '99 and I added a winch and snowplow blade so she could push snow with it, after all it's her ATV but she never wants to use it. Lucky me !! :laughing:

40 F this morning, but only going to 44 according to forecast. 50% chance of showers today going to 70% tonight and tomorrow. Gonna be a damp weekend. We can use the rain and at least it's not frozen precip, so I can't complain. It's the kind of weather we can expect here in the fall.
