/ Good morning!!!! #120,122
Good evening. Still 65, never got to 70 today, was hazy and cloudy all. Got some rain last night, was trying to drizzle at sunset.

Spent most of the afternoon on the the tractor yesterday. Likely last major mowing of the season. Back was sore when I was finished. Kinda odd as usually the NH doesn稚 bother my back. Went to have Mexican last night. Today was grocery shopping. We came home and I took a nap. Also unusual. Woke up and got ready for a trip tomorrow, then serviced both chain saws, including sharpening chains.

Have to go to southern WV tomorrow and see if I am right about a glitch in default software settings. Been an odd issue a few people report, but it has grown over the last week. Friday was pretty hectic because some people had their hair on fire. I had the software open and was looking at an actual coil and the light came in, you can稚 run a 0.8A coil at 800 mA and expect the coil and driver not to get hot and fault. Going to have to make stroke limiter changes and limit the hydraulic function electronically instead of mechanically. I know it will be a long day, 7 hours on the road round trip. Plus spend time with the end user to be sure the changes work. All this because engineering added a feature that was an answer to a question no one ever asked.

Everyone stay safe out there

Looks great, glad it’s working out for you.
You do realize that comparing any Super Giant to any Food Lion, is apples and oranges, no pun intended. If you ever went into a Harris Teeter you’d find anything one could reasonably want.

62F and cloudy @ 22:00, headed down to 60F for the overnight low.

Leaves are looking they are getting real close to peak. Meant to get a pic looking north from down by the house ... they are a sight. Will try to remember tomorrow.

Finished mowing and removed MMM and put on FEL/box blade.

The Woman went with a friend to return her grandkids to the parents so she was gone for most of the afternoon.

Hauled 5 bucketloads of mulch down and spread.

Screened 5 bucketloads of compost, hauled two buckets down and used it to top dress the hosta in front of the northeast planting bed. These were all planted in holes I drilled with the PHD and the 12" auger ... not sure exactly what happened on that, settling or what - but they each ended up being an inch or two below grade.

Also did some weeding and watering as I was doing that. Emptied Water Buffalo.

Woman ran and picked up chow at Tito's ... I had the Arroz con Mariscos and she had a pork Chimi ... which she said was very salty (looks like I'll be cleaning the rest of that up ...)

Did not get nyjer feeders filled ... :(

Heading up in a minute or two to work on the blower ... probably remove the old u-joint out of the driveshaft tonight and clean up the shaft.

Gonna be warm tomorrow, so I need to get the yoke painted. May pressure wash the fan and the rest of the unit as well.

Hope everyone had a great day.

Good evening all. 63F for the start, light breeze, mostly clear sky. Windy day, sky stayed mostly clear, and high temp 94F. Roy you have a gun for a year and a half and not fired?

Yeah I did...after I picked it up, I put it in a closet/gun cabinet and forgot about the pistol...shame on me!
Although I have a pretty gun collection of firearms, there's only a few I shoot on a regular basis. I guess I should start selling some, but I hate selling guns!

Good morning all.
53 out now in steady light rain, only going up a few degrees, and rain continues into tonight and overnight.

waiting on Comcast to show up and get me hooked up.

well it had to happen...about 10pm last night woke up to sirens, thought that's not police but a fire truck, and sure enough engine from substation of Eagle Fire Company, which I used to be a member of, was pulling out of Township garage across and down the street from me and headed out somewhere. Nice to have both police and fire company so close to me. And the sound of a fire truck will never bother me... Reminds me I need to get a battery operated smoke detector for bedroom (two others hardwired elsewhere) and several CO2 detectors; oil hot air heat, important to have. I think they make combo units now, that might be a good solution for bedroom. Plus I need to get a new fire extinguisher, can never have enough of them.

need to drive back downtown to supermarket and get what I forgot...butter and dishwasher soap. Lots of Amazon deliveries coming in today, should keep me busy. Then going furniture shopping with friend and his van on Wed afternoon. Slow but sure.

There must be a meteorological explanation for why rain often decides to start falling at the same time as I step out of the door in the morning, if not there is something very weird going on.

It is almost as though the weather app on my phone is sneaking a look at my alarm clock setting and somehow telling the real life rain clouds when to arrive. I could swear it is happening a lot more frequently too this year - can it be a coincidence that it coincides with my change over from Android to Apple ? I need to get get a grip, or my sweat dreams could be turning into a nightmare low budget remake of The_Truman_Show

"All this because engineering added a feature that was an answer to a question no one ever asked."
Don't come down too hard on them Rich, it may have done with good intentions to keep you in plenty of work in putting it right ;). Good luck with the fix

Don, I never thought of the earthquake excuse, must remember that one :D

Waiting for first cup of coffee to cool. 48ー with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 72ー with thunderstorms in afternoon. Did not get to conserve energy yesterday. Aunt called. Lets go to Port Huron today. Quick shower for me and we were off to visit my other Aunt who we had not seen since January. Great day for the trip. Good visit. Maybe conserve energy today. Still need trip to Menard's.

Drew, meal looks good. Glad move is still going good.

Don, garden looks good even without Church to guide you.

Eric, I am sure there is a good logical reason for rain dropping rain as soon as you walk out the door. But check all the settings on your iPhone before you go outdoors. By then rain may have moved on.

Buckeye, those trees will change quick. Keep your camera close by.

Buppies, hope it is only a tank needing pumping.

RS, more Hosta's to plant.

RNG, mask looks good.

Rich, good luck on trip and fix.

David, great Shopie picture. Roof looks good.

Kyle, Gator rides.

Roy, good you got out with pistol. My neighbor and I had planned to go to local gun range to use my revolver and other guns. But a Trump/BLM event is planned for there tomorrow. Guess we will have to wait until later in week. Neither of us handle crowds very well.

Randy, pickled beets. :licking:

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

64 outside this AM. That could be the high, rain is steady and moving through. Looks like the grass cutting is not done yet for the season.

Eric, I know what you mean about rain and trying to step outside. LOL. Hope it clears for you.

Buppies hope the tank just needs draining.

RNG, you are - prepared. Good for you!

Pickled beets or asparagus, favs!

Yesterday was not so restful. A run to Home Depot for tools and various things ended up hitting the wallet a little. The 20 year old drill, got chucked last night. I must say, the replacement is lighter, has more power, lasts longer...and holds a charge. LOL. I like the light too. I am way behind on my tool replacements. But over the last few months am slowly replacing everything with battery versions. So far ...so good.

We managed to clean up the porch, put the final screws in, and started the final prep for the foam boards. Meaning I need to work on the ceiling again. Got a few spots that need putty. That's on the agenda for today.

Hope all have a great start to the week. Be safe.
