56 and fog forming this morning, like Autumn. Nice night for stars...crisp sky earlier. Going to 86.
I'd love to have those biscuits for breakfast.
Roy, flail looks great.
Eric, hope the rains hold off so the fish get paid a visit.
While playing with Coco yesterday ran off the porch to beat her to the frisbee and my shoe caught and I spilled down the step to the ground...hit my knee on a stepping stone all while my wife watched. At least she seemed more worried than laughing. My knee is definitely reminding me this morning, so called off the mountain hike. Too much to do here anyway.
Earlier, while hiking in the woods that had its pines thinned last month, a female quail ran and flew slowly a foot off the ground across our path. Of course Coco followed it. I froze to watch. Then I started hearing this chorus of soft peeps all around my feet...about 15 golf ball size chicks were scurrying around. Here is one...can you find it? I ran ahead so when Coco circled back, she wouldn't find them...but their mama certainly would.
Boy, neither my wife nor I could find it.
