27 degrees here...wife and I are going to Best Buy later today, she wants a new desktop so she can hook up to ICloud, or whatever that is. I just made online condolences at the funeral home website of someone I recently met at a township function...worked with him for two days at a community playground build. He died of natural causes Thursday. Much to my astonishment, his obituary covers ONE THIRD of a newspaper page...taking the space of what would have been 4 or 5 normally sized obituaries. I am sorry I didn't get to know the man sooner...what an amazing, adventurous life he led and experienced. Sad to say, when I die, my obituary will only be a few lines long, at most. Guess I frittered my life away.....

I slept in this morning. It's 39 F and overcast, but the air is still. Supposed to have light showers later today. It's a good excuse to stay indoors and watch football.:thumbsup:

Slept in this am, then ran some errands, had lunch with my wife. I have to put a shoe rack together in a bit, then take care of the animals. Nice day here, 27 and sunny. Too bad it isn't 70 and sunny.

I've got work today and possibly a job offer, and possibly the hiring manager with a defense company will want to interview me, so it should be a good day...

Due too many issues to list, was not able to get much done on the fence yesterday. Not sure what I will be able to do today. Tomorrow Jonnyc1999 is coming by...

Yesterday I also had to bury the second red hen to die of some infection. he first died about a month ago, and with anti-biotics in the water we had been healing them up it seemed.

Here is hoping for a good week for all of us!

Got the Coffee pot on. 16 degrees today. Headed to 38 sunny degrees today. Checkout battery yesterday. No problems. Just forgot how slow it turns over when cold. It does start right up. No big projects today. Should be a good day to clean up tools that have collected on work bench in barn.

51 here and rain just to the west of me and I think that is about our high for today also. The 5010 blew the electric solenoid for the remotes yesterday when I was out grading the road. A call to the dealer first AM so they can come get her and fix the problem is what my day will be!!

44 F, still and overcast. . . Gonna warm to upper 50s today. I may let grandson help me put up some outside lights (late, I know) when he gets home from school today.

Good morning to all! It is 18* here and sunny on its way to 42. Would be a great day to do outside projects, but the wife took the day off and wants to go shopping. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.
