unless you really like to use your grease gun, check to see how many zerks there are on the Ferris, and if you can get to the ones
on the rear suspension easily without taking off the wheel. Years ago I was amazed at how many grease points there were on the fully 4 wheel independent
suspension, just like a car. Which is why the Ferris rides so well. I forget the model but I had an earlier large Ferris.
If your ground is bumpy, I'd buy the Ferris. Otherwise they usually have the same Kawasaki engine
and similar drive systems. Unless you are cutting super heavy grass/field with the mower, my experience with zturns has been 27hp is good for a 60 inch deck, fuel injection
is desirable if offered. I'd take a Briggs Vanguard engine also. External oil cooler is a nice touch.
BEF, I'm sure with kids in college this is the last thing you want to buy right now..., big purchase. Any zero percent financing?
some chance of showers tonight. That would sure be good, at least save the lawn. But I still have to water trees today, wondering if there was some way to water
my potatoes using my orchard sprayers rear boom. I don't think it tilts...Of course I could just hold a hose on the potatoes, would be a lot of trips at 50 gallons a trip.
They are too far for watering using hoses, though I suppose I could add some and get there.
Low nineties today. Errands this morning, mow and water later.
