Been enjoying the porch, but breeze is getting light and few, so may have to retreat into AC.

Did not make it parade. But did get to see 2 fly overs.
Cut lawn instead of weed killer. Ribs have been in smoker for 2 hours. Anther hour and turn heat up to 350° for 15 minutes and it's time to eat.

Small section of baby back ribs for one person. Smoked at 225°. St. Louis style ribs (thick) would take up to 6 hours.

Green tomatoes and just 5 okra but I was determined to have gumbo out on my garden by Memorial day and I did.:thumbsup:
Hand and foot tournament starts in just 47 minutes.

Wifey and I spent the weekend up at the cabin with our girls. 3,000 ft elevation, Beautiful weather and so peaceful. Thanks to all of you Vets that made that possible. :thumbsup:

Good evening all. 73F this morning, overcast, moderate wind, Gusty wind again today, sky became partly cloudy for a while and high temp of 87F. Choir practice this morning, a few chores then bike ride. Finished the mowing then had lunch nap and shower.
Happy Memorial Day!! prayers for the families who have lost service men and women.

Jay sounds like Mr knee is behaving. Hoping for further healing.
Kyle used to have some good air shows at Spirit of St Louis airport, then air port and air show people got crossways and the air shows dissappeared :confused2:

A damp start to the day and cool enough to nip the tips of my ears first thing this morning. I can't tell you the exact temperature as the radio receiver is temporarily lost - last seen in the hands of the youngest grandson on Sunday.

Was at work in one of my dreams. Should i record the time?
