Home from camping. Was hot, humid, with severe thunderstorms.
The camper bed is ok for a couple nights, but after that my hips really hurt.
Yesterday started having weakness in my legs, like they didnt want to work. Today more of the same. Think ill see the doc again.

Backed camper into it's spot, and knocked over the fence behind it. Couple posts were rotted and leaning already. Tapped it with bumper and down it went.

Took my wife camping once in my son's camper like yours... she lasted one night. We left the camper at Gettysburg and went on up to New England without it. Truth be told, I was fine with that. I hate camping... Hope your back straightens out.

I have square 3X4 bales. I made 98 bales this first cut. We sell by the bale or ton. But most are getting 20-25 tons. I only have 14 bales left to sell. I'm hoping they are gone this week. Here's a load going out, taking 24 tons all together.

Seriously beautiful pic. I have to ask, what is the small old building in the background? Pump house? Out house? Get out of the cold and not freeze to death house?

I'm not much of a happy camper anymore. My wife does not like having to do without modern conveniences, or dealing with mosquitoes etc.... So, fortunately, I haven't had to camp in ages....

I did go to Christian Church camp this past weekend to haul the kids' baggage home. I spent one night. The mattress was worse than BEF's ( I'd bet a quarter on it). We hiked for a couple of miles on the sides of rocky hills going up and down. My ankles were killing me for a day or 2. I looked for a label on the mattress but couldn't find it. I'm betting it came from death bed mattress factory. Hope the camp didn't pay much for it. I'd rather had a $6 dollar inflatable throw away pool floatie that I'd have to wake up hourly to refill....Oh yeah, my back hurt too, but rebounded last night and today. :)

Drew out swimmin' with women! You go tiger! Your pizza looked awesome as well as the fruits and vegetables of your labors.

RNG, I'm guilty of not greasing my FEL every 5 hours. Maybe twice or thrice a year. Heck, grease and time are expensive. :) :) :)

Randy, I hope this small note finds you feeling better and that everything is working out with you and Ellen since your big day.

Sodamo, thanks for sharing.

Here's what I got from Fredericksburg Texas yesterday.

Good evening all. 76F this morning, humid, partly cloudy, light wind. Sky clouded up this afternoon, trace rain, light wind high temp was 92F ( thunderstorm outflow cooled us off :) ), Choir over for summer, bike ride to start, had to take the 10 speed, Volagi has a crack in seat post weld :thumbdown: will talk to dealer tomorrow. Lawn mowing after ride, then nap. Got a bunch of calls today, something about surviving another year:rolleyes:
Stepdaughter baked a cake and got some new fishing toys .
Billy, snapping turtles can reach about 1/2 the way around their shells. A lot of the small pond owners I knew in Missouri would not let snapping turtle back in their ponds!.
Drew, nice veggies count me in for the pizza.
Prayers for all.

94 today in Gulf Shores.

Yellow flag surf yesterday and today. Kids
enjoying beach and ocean. Yesterday it was right at dark before we got here. 8.5 hours turned to 12.5. Between weather and traffic and 2 kids 6 and under. Lost almost an hour to heavy rain in thunderstorms. Interstate dropped to under 30mph because of rain. So we only let them wade. Today we spent about 2 hours in the ocean. Wife worked on a sand castle with youngest. Me and oldest worked on his boogie boarding. Actually got him to turn loose of me and lay on board. He rode a half dozen waves really well. He didn’t want to leave but we were run inside because of a nearby thunderstorm’s lightning.

Wife wanted to take the kids on a dolphin Cruise. I said if we do it I want to find a sailboat. So. Tomorrow we’ve chartered a sailboat. We will have a 2 hour tour on a sailboat. Out into the gulf to find dolphins and other wildlife. Comes with a captain and it’s a private boat hold 6 passengers. They say they actually sail it’s not for looks.

Snapping turtles don’t live long after being found at home.

I don’t grease loader pins every 10 hours as Kubota recommends. Mine see a grease gun about the nice a month. And I use a loader. RNG I agree most loaders aren’t engineered for constant loading. When I push up litter I push left to right then next time it’s right to left. If not it’ll twist my bucket a bout 1/2”. Didn’t have that problem when I was using the 4120 JD of my BIL. Talked my buddy out of the MX line and into a M5660 last fall. The 5660 uses the same loader the M7060 does. It should really be a good loader for him. I’ve got more wear on my loader pins than I should for 1300 hours.

Drew. Nice pizza.

David nice pictures.

I’ll be honest, haven’t camped since the days I was paid to. Not something on wife’s wish list and I did enough both growing up and then in Army.

Good morning. Not sure what the weather will bring today, one forecast says sun and other says rain :confused3:

Wng, snapping turtles don't sound very friendly, but a little reading suggest there is a much lower chance of loosing a body part to one of them than your bears "The Common snapping turtle (Chelydra serpentina) registered between 208 and 226 Newtons of force when it came to jaw strength. In comparison, the average bite force of a human (molars area) is between 300 and 700 Newtons" Snappers should be more afraid of you - though only if they read wiki :)

Mostly, what a shame with the Volagi. Is it a weld that has cracked, or has the tubing failed ?

Farmer, nice to hear your kids are enjoying the beach
