Randy, sorry to hear you had a relapse. Get better soon!

BEF, hope you get some relief of the pain, I know all too well how it gets old fast! Any pain meds prescribed?

Extra prayers sent for both of you!

71 currently today was 90. Humidity coming back in so is rain tomorrow and Tuesday.

Picked up all the small squares of hay for the riding program yesterday. 215 bales onto 2 1/2 loads and stacked. Filled bar loft and put rest in shed. Mostly fescue older horses so no worries about endophyte.

Took youngest son to MIL for his birthday present. Wife’s family all went together and got him a battery Ram truck. We’ve already had trouble getting him off it. He’ll be 3 Friday. Party next Saturday. Then to dads to view new tractor and see my sister who was in getting her kids from dad. Picked up the stock trailer also.
I won’t be buying a MF 2607H. Too many quirks and ergonomic issues. Dads satisfied with it because of price point. He stayed under 30k. Like remote levers behind seat, rounded fenders, 4 wheel drive behind operator. Things that don’t matter to people doing 100hours a year or less or people not running a lot of remote implements. I’m doing 400+ hours a year and half that is with something requiring a remote.

Thomas. What effects would a propane cannon on a trip wire have for the bear? Maybe an ammonia spray on a trip wire.

Eric. Good catch. I’m thinking it need a second fitting. Dads new loader has grease zeros on both sides of some of his pivot points.

TP get better and stay away from those hospitals.

Buckeye. Get out of yours. But be well when you do. Hospital bills are outrageous best of luck with insurance.

Your #2 picture seems to show a second hole just above the Mitutoyo on caliper. Does it get grease?
I see three holes. Maybe they were not drilled completely.
I took the pin out from the other side of the loader yesterday and it is just the same. When I hold it in my hand and test it by pumping in grease, it all comes out of the first hole. As each hole is covered by a finger, it comes out the next hole, showing there is nothing wrong with how the pins have been machined. As Kyle says, it's just grease going down the path of least resistance.

Or maybe drill the central hole all the way through and add another grease fitting on the other end of the pin so you can use your grease gun from both sides?
Thanks, that is an excellent suggestion. The second and third holes are well within the bushes. I wonder if bearing pins are hardened after machining ?

Kyle, you clearly understood what I was poorly describing, thanks for the ideas. I love that "loosy goosey" expression !

Eric, sounds like the solution is a new tractor. :)
A smile goes a long way in helping to solve most problems.

. I知 thinking it need a second fitting.
Now that would be the easiest solution. This "C4+" loader is a relatively new design and I doubt the manufacturer intended it to be this way. I will drop them a line and see what sort of response I get.

In the UK it is easy to buy loaders from specialists who do nothing except make loaders for a living. JD and Kubota still try and sell you their own, while most others like Iseki encourage this approach. This loader was designed and made in France, then fitted by their UK operation.

Good morning, a clear, dry day for us, then more rain coming for the rest of the week.

I will have to do some Canada Thistle topping today otherwise it won't be long before it is setting seed. Quite a few studies suggest it is up to 30% more effective as a longer term solution if cut during or just before rain. Herbicide is not an option as I can't move the stock out - too many fields tied for hay that just can't be cut.

RNG, if you do want to look at Iseki tractors, some of the Massey range of compacts are made by them, then sprayed red instead of blue.

Randy, sorry to hear you are back in hospital. About time you and BEF ended that competition to see who can run up the highest bills.

good morning all. Sunny hot day today, going up to mid 90's and I'll be mowing lawn today.
First a trip to the dermatologist, love he has 8am appts, probably get ouched by that nitrogen bottle of his, he always finds something
on the top of my head to freeze and geez, as many of you well know, lot of nerve endings up there...

Ted, I think we both need a magic injection, me in my ear and you in your knee. Some kind of steroid magic with no side effects.
I called your pharmacy and they are making that for you today. Any extra, ship it East, plenty of takers.

Toppop, may the next set of labs get you thrown out of there and sent home. Slowly...
Hope you woke up feeling better this morning.

Any morning you wake up is a very good thing...;)

Farmer, that Massey 2607 is the big sister of the one I owned, the one built in India, built like a tank, but
physically hard to use. Costs money to run that linkage up where your arms rest, for you money well spent.
Too much multitasking at one time is when you clip a tree...

Seems I made enough meat loaf to feed an army, froze one, cut the other in half, tupperwared that to give to my very senior lady friend who
doesn't cook any more. Will deliver that after doc appt this morning.
And I have to research how to make bird houses out of gourds. Two or three more in garden still. I'm sure there are six youtube videos on it.

I ordered a 70 dollar dash cam from Youtube, the one they recommended for non Uber drivers, where you want to video the occupant, after watching
too many youtube car accident videos. The really bad ones are where the tractor trailer compacts five or six cars at a stop at full speed.
Not sure what to drive to survive that...
of course the surgeon who fused my neck told me to buy a Volvo.

Even in interstate parking lots, where all you can see is stopped cars, I leave a full car length opening between myself and the person in front when stopped.
It's surprising how that drives some people behind me crazy. That opening is simply unacceptable to them, even with a mile of stopped traffic ahead.
They seem to want to posses it...
