Deceptively warm here... sure felt warm, until I put 20 miles or so on the 360 motorcycle! Man, was I cold when I got back home!!

I think it may have hit 50 around here, but was around 43 when I returned on the bike. Cold enough, at 45mph anyway....

46 and clear here. Supposed to start raining today and then for the next three days...

I have a solid offer of help for the horse fence this week, but supposedly I will be in DC every day due to a guy from HQ is here for some "special projects". That plus rain... Not very likely to happen.

As a family we really try not to work on Sunday, and for months, and months we have not been successful. My kids are really pushing for "Family Fun Day" after Church so I suspect they will win that battle. They really are great kids, and we all have been working very hard for months...

So... We shall see what happens today.

36 and a Northwest wind, cool morning. Good fire keeping the chill off. It is hard with a country place not to find things that "have" to get done on a Sunday... kids need a family fun day so you and your family enjoy the day.

Second cup of coffee poured. 52 degrees this morning. Heading to 54 with lots of rain. Son and family have already headed back to NC this morning. It was great to have all the family together this year.
Going to work on the small projects I found yesterday.

Third coffee gone - almost ready to begin something... 0 C (32F) at present supposed to reach 5 C later today. We shall see - most of Wed's snow has melted away creating very muddy conditions.

Got the power back on

for the 3rd

time since yesterday morning. Raining very heavy here and lots of wind. Longest outage was about 7 hours. Supposed to get nicer this afternoon and may even see a bit of the sun. Walked out to the shop to light the wood stove at 4:30AM and big puddles everywhere. Plan on starting my burn pile this morning once it get light out. It's 7AM pacific time and still black out there, no hint of light yet.

Wow George! You are really having a hard time of it. Good luck as the storms push through.

It's windy and mid-30s F here today. Yesterday was blustery and chilly. I posted that we were going to the new Muppet movie, but we went to Arthur Christmas instead. It was my grandson's choice. It was a cute movie and well-done with a predictable ending.

SHUCKS, thought I was gonna be the first one to post here today...good morning, guys. 32 degrees right now, spent much of yesterday rebuilding the carb on my Honda ATV and cleaning up my barn workshop. "Puttering around" is one of my favorite rainy day activities. :laughing:

Wow... 43 in NH now, supposed to get warmer with some rain, but it looks pretty clear (stars) now....

Back to school today after our T-day break. Hopefully, the kids will be calmed down compared to last Tuesday... and then we can get ready for the next round.

Amazing how wound up they get before each holiday. I bet I was never like that....:laughing:

56 Degrees!

We have eaten lunch outside in the sunshine for the last 3 days, and maybe today also!

Window in the bedroom was opoen all night the last few nights and it was so warm last night it did not even cool the room off!

Back to work for me this week, I am off of light duty NLT tomorrow if not today. I am still onewinged for many, many things, but I'm functioning far better than a guy with a seriously broken collarbone 19 days ago should be.

Once again I have been Blesed far beyond my value it seems.

MAYBE I will get some time to keep working on the Walnut cleanup today... But that is a big maybe.

Gonna rain for the next few days...

34 here, and the coffee is on!! Gotta bunch of stuff to do today, so I feel good. Amazing weather for Michigan. Usually we are butt deep in snow or mud or both by this time of the year

Just noticed that is supposed to get down to 14 on Friday. I guess it was just too good to last.

Morning all. I had the last four days off from the regular job and got a bunch of stuff done that we had planned to do in the Spring. With all this nice weather here it's about to kill me. I think I am going to wear out my BH taking it off and on so many times. Normally I have the snow plow on by now waiting for snow. Well at least the wife isn't saying things like "another wasted day" to me. Strange weather is an understatement.

The world is upside down again.:confused2: You Michiganders have warmer temps than we have in Texas. It's 24.1 F with a nice frosty still morning that produced a cover of glistening frost on the grass. The weather guesser last night said our humidity was 12%, like the desert. So, it's cold, dry and still in N. Texas this morning as kids go back to school after the T-day break.
