Well then, overall everything must be "normal".
Good morning, 15F here this morning with a dusting of snow. Heading back over to Detroit to the Toronto /Detroit Alumni games at Comerica Park. These outdoor games are going to be a lot colder then the games on Sunday. Hope I do not freeze my patooties off.
The good thing about rain, as long as you are not at the bottom of a valley with a river or creek, it will run somewhere else. Snow, not so much. The first winter I was in the Navy I spent in Great Lakes. I learned that I wasn't cut out for the snow. Larro
Wilky, the Navy clothes were not very warm. I got me some long underwear after my first payday up there. It took a while for a slot to open up in my A school, and we did a lot of make work while we waited. We all tried to get on the floor cleaning crew if we could. A buffer will keep you warmer than a snow shovel.

I worked the supply division office and mess cook barracks as a compartment cleaner waiting for "A" school . One of the guys was from Minnesota went home every weekend he was off. Never missed muster even though he hichhiked each way this was back in 58-59 winter.Good Evening. 2030, clear, 48* with 88% humidity. Forecast low of 46* with 20% chance of rain. Just before dark when I walked over to my shooting house it was spitting rain. That is two days sooner than they said it was going to get here. Wilky, the Navy clothes were not very warm. The heaviest snow was a little north of us, and they were on the TV telling folks to stay off the roads. So what did we do? We loaded up and drove north of course. Larro
