48*F, clear and headed to 81 today.

Sharon got her feet tangled up playing with the dogs yesterday evening. Rolled her ankle over and landed hard on her shoulder. I'll probably be helping her with stuff today.

68 with 88 on the way.
Dave, sorry about your wife. I did the same thing with my puppy (now 38 lbs). I landed okay although the pup squealed like never before - she was okay .

Roy, maybe you can get a baler for your tractor and make hay from your lawn. :)

Happy Friday, everyone!

Good morning, 61F heading to a predicted high of 84F. Have a 6 x 10 shed that my kids kept their toys in, got it cleaned out last night and put all the broken toys in garbage. the rest will either be sold , donated or the kids can take home for the grand kids to play with. No rain in sight for a few days so I was able to finally spray the weeds in the driveway.

On my way to mow the lawn. Went to Menards in Lansing, had to get some roofing stuff to repair the goat shed, the roof was damaged during a ice storm this winter. I had to pick a piece of branch about 4 in in diameter out of the roof. I should have taken pics. 4 sheets of new roofing, some 2x4's to brace up the broken trusses, a new 2x6 fascia board, and some more tinwork. I have put it off long enough, I guess...:)
No sense waiting until winter to fix it!

I rolled over on my ankle a few years ago, turned out to be a hairline fracture on my ankle. I am still feeling the effects, 5 years later. Take care.

Same thing for my Mrs....she has suffered with it for over 6 mos. now..She got an elastic support sock that slips over the ankle and it helps her...Doc said it takes time...

It gets worse. Sharon took a super strength tylenol before going to bed to cut the pain in her shoulder and ankle. She had one left over from minor eye surgery last winter. On her way back from the bathroom in the wee hours of the night, she sort of blacked-out, fell and hit her head on the bedstand. Now she has one black eye and a small lump on her eyebrow. She has sworn off super tylenol. :)

She's a trooper though, up and around today. I walked the dogs this morning and fed them. I think for the ankle recovery, it helps that she walks the dogs everyday for a mile at least. Her muscle tone and tendons should be in decent condition. She won't sit still anyways.

little falls can really hurt as we get older. And we heal less quickly. Dave kiss it and make it better.

maybe tractor folk are too busy taking care of their properties,
because what i really want to know is...

who's going fishing?

Wingsprd for sure; he's going to be on the cover of Fly Fisherman magazine in a couple of years, I do believe.
but who else is taking their kids or grandkids fishing?
so during the summer, if you catch a fish, ring out.

cloudy but nice here, low eighties. And I'm stuck inside boxing up old bills, medical records, and the dust is getting to me.
of course then I had to get the pledge out and since I could find the tops to the desks in the office, I got to cleaning them, and the bookshelves, and
boy I think those new trees need watering. Yes I believe they do. ;)
