The z920A zero-turn was delivered yesterday. Boy, it's fast! I hope I don't do too much destruction before I learn how to operate it.

80* with a diminishing chance of showers today and tonight.

A follow-up on our dog's eye infection. The tests identified Rocky Mtn. spotted fever, a tick borne bacteria. The vet said there has been a good bit of that recently, to the point where there are tight supplies of the medicine in some areas. She also noted that the tick bite that infected the dog could have occurred as early as last year. Last year and this spring were bad for ticks around here. Dang ticks are killing the moose, passing out Lyme disease like party favors, and now this.

Some info. Rocky Mtn. spotted fever is carried by dog ticks which occur everywhere east of the Rockies, and by the tick it is named after.

I've been mostly goofing off today after a long day yesterday. The cabinet maker was here for a couple hours getting plans together for some new cabinets that will hide our mini-split lines running on interior wall surfaces. Heading to the grocery store this evening after the usual rush period. The store gets pretty quiet around 8 pm. They have so many floor displays in the aisles I hate to go when it's busy. Do I sound old?

Good evening all. 65F this morning, hit 85F this afternoon and sporadic showers but rain gauge dry. Cleaned up apples this morning, went to mow and the rain started, stopped enough to get the grass wet. Working on the house selling paperwork, house should be listed next week.

Good evening. Was nice again today, supposed to rain this weekend.

Got called at work about the lawn mower wouldn't run. Acted like it wasn't getting gas, so I stopped and got a new fuel filter on the way home and put it on, and it still would cut off. Low oil. I just happened to think about that and sure enough, that was it. Guess I should change the oil, but I just topped it off for now.

Good Evening. 2115, clear, 75F with 90% humidity. Forecast low of 72F with 10% chance of rain tonight, and a high of 90F tomorrow.

Mamma got transfered to the rehab late this afternoon. Or as Sister put it, she is in the Witness Relocation Program. They are planning on 4 hours of PT, 6 days a week. I'm sure she will be glad to get Sunday off. After 3 days she can come to the rehab in Blountstown. Not sure if she will want to or not. But she sounded good on the phone today. I had to come into work early, so I skipped going to Panama City today. And I have one of the worst events of the year tomorrow. They give away free school supplies, and it is not uncommon for 1K people to come through here. The sad thing is the stuff they give away is only worth 5 or 10 bucks. If you drive very far, you have spent more than that on gas. But put free in front of anything, and folks go crazy.
