Poured last cup of coffee. 48° with light fog this morning. Heading to 73° with sun then clouds later in the day. Got last of the filters and oil on order. TSC sent me a 10% off coupon. Need to go by there to see if they have anything I need. Then it's time to get started on fall maintenance.
Good Morning All

I've received a lot of those TSC coupons this summer. They work pretty well as a sales tool because I always think there must be something I need.

62 headed to 68 and misty outside...and yes, very dark for 6:30.

Too wet to do what I need to do outside, so may hit the gym and grocery shop with wife.

Now that it is light enough, just inspected the caulking, completed as it was raining yesterday afternoon. Well, the FROG tape failed sometime during the night. It was holding the plastic up at dark last night, but the plastic was on the ground this morning. Fortunately the caulking looks pretty good. I guess the amount of time it had to cure before the plastic fell was enough.

In defense of FROG tape, I did apply it after the rain had moistened the wall, and it was on the north wall, the same direction from which the rain and 10mph wind came.

Yes, but it might have been that it was a lot of DAP - I used almost 2 tubes, so if a little bled off with the rain, there was plenty left.

53 this morning. Headed to 85. I was hoping the 80's were over. Looks like they will be here till at least the weekend. Average high is 78. Have some repairs to finish in chicken coupes today. Then mow some fields. Don't need the hay this fall.

Good day all.

Good morning! 66˚ heading to the mid 80˚s, sunny skies, light wind still from the north.
With the cooler weather I'm helping my Dad take down an old fence (about 900') There is a lot of hand work in it - first the "stays" had to be cut out with a bolt cutters and now each of the 5 barbed wires have to be rolled up and there have been many cedars that have grown into the fence line since 1968. Tomorrow, a 10 mile road trip with my tractor to grapple out the dead cedar trees and pull post.

Good Morning. 1125, overcast, 64F with 87% humidity. Forecast high of 80F this afternoon, and a low of 63F tonight. Long pants weather is here at last. If I want to do anymore swimming this year, I had better get to the river soon.

I've done my lifting and ate breakfast. I'm thinking of doing a little tractor work, but haven't got outside yet. I need to cut the whole 6 acres one last time {I hope} for the year. And most of the garden can be mowed and tilled, as well as my food plots.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Larro

a sad day when a tractor goes...but hope your new rig will be enjoyable. Whatever color it is.

Another nice day, high of 70F.

The Ford needed a new front wheel bearing hub assembly @ 93K miles. That plus an oil change came to $575, so I got two haircuts today. The hub assembly parts cost $404.

Spent the afternoon picking rocks, then a 7pm Planning Board meeting.

Warm weather this weekend they say, low 80's and 0% chance of rain.
