speaking of I65, I haven't seen Ken sweet on here lately. His business is on I65 south of Elizabethtown. I visited thru that area a couple yrs ago, visited the Lincoln birthplace outside Hodgenville. My wife is a Lincoln.

26 degrees snow/sleet rain now over probably have 2 to 3in of snow and probably over an inch of rain before cold air caught up with precipitation. Low later tonight of 14 so everything wet will freeze. Had a lot of office work to do so driveway not cleared hopefully not a major mistake on my part. Kentucky took a real hit from this storm. 40s 50s next week so we get a taste of Spring

Good morning all.

I don't have a beard to shave off to celebrate spring, however I did go out without my beanie hat this morning.
The thermometer suggested it had warmed up enough to go hatless. It lied. The wind sucked the heat away until my ears were screaming for mercy by the time I got back inside. Should have known it's not really spring just yet.

11 going to 32. Probably won't get much of our 5 inches of snow melted today, but I'm seeing 50s this weekend, and 60s next week...so no beanie needed.

Almost full moon on the snow was beautiful this morning.

10 out this Am, the almost full moon over the pastures and 7 plus inches of snow is a site to see. What a refreshing morning! I gotta go find my driveway today and go rescue a car one of my kids abandon due to the bad weather.
