good evening all. It has cooled off here after 85F earlier in the week, had 59F for a high today and about 4 in rain this week, 2.5 in Friday night and Saturday. Been in move mode since finishing granddaughter's accord, packers show in the morning. will not have internet access for about 2 weeks, please member how hard it is to catch up

No improvement in temperatures today, although at least it is looking as if the rain will hold off until the afternoon.

I thought I had found the problem with the ride on mower, simply a slack bolt on the guide that keeps the belt on the drive pulley. This cured the noise but when it runs there is still a distinct smell of burning rubber. There is almost a year left of it's two year warranty, so I am reluctant to dismantle it to get inside.

Of all the machines available for rent, trenchers probably get more abuse than any of them. Try to rent from a reputable shop, and give the thing a close inspection looking for loose or broken parts. Also get the agent to start and run it for you, both so you'll know how it works and to verify that it'll run.:2cents:

And if you can, get a picture of the agents face as you pull the lever that cuts a trench down the centre of his parking lot. :laughing:

Good morning, 48F heading to only 64F, I guess I will have to keep my pants on for at least another day. Also got 1.5" of rain yesterday.

Coffee is done brewing. 42° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 66° with partly cloudy skies. Rain finally stopped yesterday evening. 2.6" in 24 hours of continuous rain. Nothing like TX. But not normal for here. Windows are clean. Finally a good morning to work on garden pond. Then take dog to Vet for annual checkup.
Drew, not sure if you have a backhoe. But a 12" bucket would get the job done quick. Plus more seat time.
