Actually, I've been a Coug fan for many decades. Been to a couple of Bluebonnet Bowls way back as a young 'un. My uncle was alumni. Phi Slamma namma. Even have a UofH hat signed by Carl and Carol Lewis.....but when the chips are down, I bleed maroon.

I graduated in 76. Four years, all at night, as had to work full time days. My red cap is autographed by Bill Yeoman.

That's why we want to join the big 12 so the Ags can bleed some maroon. . Oklahoma is a believer!

Don't tell anyone but, we need to recreate the old Southwest Conference.

No, but the ex had one of those things. Absolutely vile piece if junk, engine from either Austria or China, plastic everywhere, chain drive (the main point in riding a Beemer is shaft drive), and it fell apart just looking at it. To adjust the valves the cam had to come out, oil changes were a nightmare, don't get me started.

Ahh, the limb is down. It fell right where I was standing, I kind of figured it would so this morning I cleared at an escape route and used my 2.5 seconds to vacate the area.
Cleanup was easy with the grapple and the small stuff with the (baby) dump trailer.

Seems like every time I have to saw up high I end up cutting pretty much over my head, and whatever's up there makes a bee line for me when it cuts loose. Using a pole saw only means it has time to pick up a little more speed before it gets to where you hopefully were standing.

Managed to move about half the wood down to the lower access road, and all of it is a lot closer. Got the tractor stuck on a side hill with wood jammed into the low side, but was able to pick it out a piece at a time and eventually get out again. Plenty of pucker power was necessary, so I'm taking the rest of the day off and heading east to another motorcycle rally for the weekend. Gosh, I hope all that wood is still here when I get back! :confused2::laughing:

Don, all I could think of in those pics was oh no don't you dare touch those beautiful pavers

That was the paver section Ron installed, it is rock solid. The tree did leave a scuff mark when it fell on one paver, I'll buff it out later.
