Happy new year guys. Quiet night at home. The dogs barked a bit at midnight, we could hear some fireworks going off at midnight. Lazy day today, 21 here, supposed to get to 40? It better start soon, or it will not make it.

Nice dinner, too complicated, enormous mess when everyone left, but it was fun. Dishwasher on second load, two more loads coming.
Lots of tupperwaring today to put away leftover foods.
But off later to a New Year's lunch with ham and blackeyed peas.
Drizzling out, not very motivated to do anything but take another nap.

Drew, I'll bet you're being humble and it was great. We have a mess to clean up at our house. I made home made chicken and rice soup yesterday. Took some over to the in laws and they were grateful.
Barely stayed up 'til midnight. I had bought some Welch's sparkling red grape non alcoholic for the kids and the mother in law baby sitter. The stuff had the kids bouncing off the walls until about midnight and then we all fell over worn out.
