Still awake at 2 am, not that i want to be, but my mind is occupied with thoughts that are keeping me up. Then i got hungry, and had to grab a bite to eat.

4 am , 7° and still awake. Looked outside and it looked like snow on, but it's just the moonlight shining.

Welcome to the new year, 5 this morning with a wind chill of 1 going to 21 and mostly sunny. Hope to get some work done out in the shop today but we will see. Enjoyed the new year coming in the same as always, ZZZZZZ. When I walked the dog last night the grass looked like big diamonds all over the yard. Have seen a few around here and there but the grass was almost covered, 3 or 4 in apart. It was lovely. Wife went out in her pj's and slippers with my hat and coat to take a pic but it did not show up well. Guess it was a slight dusting of snow.

Let the dogs out this morning around 5, and I could not get over how bright the moon was. Has to be one of the brightest moons I've seen in my lifetime (probably not, but it sure seems that way).
Outside thermometer shows 15 degrees, and that's what the weather station called for as well.
