Ed, sorry to hear all of that, God bless you.
RNG, quite a storm, I remember a storm in Stockton in the early 70s, lightening wasn’t real common there. People were screaming and running for cover, being a Carolina boy, I was laughing my butt off.
Drew, don’t try so hard, but be available. You have much experience, draw on it.

Heading down to Connecticut in a couple hours...

PVWatts Calculator

You can determine siting info on here.

thank you, I will play with this. What I really need to do is look at the tech specs of the charger and start from there, as to load.

26 degrees, last of cold mornings I hope. Up to 62 today and no more freezing nights in forecast. Though lots of grumbling about another storm. Let's keep that up North please.

Headed downtown to food shop and get more landscaping fabric staples at TSC. Otherwise will enjoy being outside.

Good morning all. No snow here, only heavy showers with a chance of hearing some thunder later on. That's fine by me, I did a little too much hedge work and fire wood prep yesterday, so my body will appreciate a day away from a chainsaw and doing nothing more strenuous than tap away at a keyboard. The oak rings looked so willing to divide that I got the old maul out instead of the hydraulic splitter. This morning my aching shoulders are telling me go easier on the nostalgia trips.

Drew, that looks a very generously sized solar panel for a fence energiser. Unless the energiser is particularly hungry, or a volcano erupts and blocks out your daylight, I would be surprised if the battery needs any other charging.

Good morning all, 27 this morning going to 54 and we have a wind advisory. Sorry about the rant, and thanks for your care. Lot going on. Hope to check out another Dr and do a costco run. Need a few things so id should not be to bad. Sharpened the hatchet that I made into a carving hatchet yesterday and fiddled with a 1 x 2. Like it and how it works and feels.

Drew, sometimes I think the the key is to quit looking and they will find you. Seams to work that way for me.

Prayers for all in need. Ed

26 going to 58...but I see a chance of snow peeking at us on Saturday.

Wow, Ed, can't believe that behavior from a professional...a complaint to the medical board may be in order.

RNG, crazy weather you're getting...glad you weren't out on your bike in that. Our hummingbirds are due back here around April 9th.

Eric, glad you're getting a day with rest...I also look forward to rainy days for that reason sometimes.

Well, we had chicken pot pie last night for Pi Day. I guess today is Ides of March...not sure what to have for this...pizza?

Poured second cup of coffee. 28° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 34° with mostly cloudy skies. Good visit with doctor yesterday. May see him again in a year. He is a Cardiologist. Passed on some of Don's info. Good discussion on Brazil Nuts. Did not roll his eyes up with the info like most of the doctors you talk to. No plans today. Carpenters are pounding away on new house across street. Keeps me busy watching them work with various pieces of equipment. All bigger than my tractor. Except for the mini excavator.

Drew, good solar project.

Ed, sorry to hear about doctor problems. Prayers for mom, wife and you.

RGN, lots of rain and Humming Birds. We get to see one at a time here.

Eric, rest days are good.

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning All.

cut up 50 pounds of Red Pontiac seed potatoes last night after dinner, listening to some jazz in the garage with the heat turned on.
Very satisfying hour. And look at all those seed eyes...at least a pound of eyes that had been knocked off the potatoes
on the bottom of the burlap bag. Not sure they are viable, unlikely..., but going to toss them in a row also.
I mean the eyes are an inch long in cases.
Then after the 50 pounds of Red LaSoda are done today, I'll plant tomorrow. Second batch, first batch has done nothing. Pretty nasty weather actually.
