LS- I did the surgical rebuild route. My rebuilt knee is in better shape than the 'good" knee. I was lucky- no replacement (yet). If the doctors think you should stay homebound you should. Your "light duty" was not so "light." It's OK to take care of yourself.

Birds leave tomorrow and Wednesday. Lots of work going on here this layout. New tunnel fans(32). Windows (88) go in. Hopefully new tunnel curtains make it in.
Also have to register oldest son for kindergarten tomorrow. He starts in the fall. Hard to believe.

Kyle looks like your son had a good day. Happy belated birthday to him and Drew and others (if I missed anyone).

Not here, 57 degrees out going up to 70 today in rain all day.
Lightning and thunder, time for a first cup of coffee, machine just beeped. Love that sound...

Doing my rainy day things today, getting hair cut, probably plant a tray of okra this morning.

Ed, if you spend a bunch of time cleaning those carpets in the truck, the deep stains will just bleed back through. You can get them out in an hour or less. Doesn’t make sense to best your brains out on it buddy.

Wngsprd, are you going to run out of trees to cut down before you run out of energy???

I don't think I'll ever run out of trees, but I did get close to "E" on my energy gauge yesterday. But I did finish this tree and one smaller one, cutting, splitting and stacking. I incorporated two new uses of my grapple that saved a lot of my energy.
