Good Morning!!!! 63F @ 5:00AM. Generally cloudy. High 62F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.
Looks like we'll pick up a half inch of rain this evening, almost four inches Friday, then the sunshine is back for Sunday and Monday. We need the rain, but Friday may be a little too much of a good thing!
Good news that Brogen got through his examination without any major problems being discovered, Jay. Better keep quiet about his next visit, though. It might take another 4-in-1 to get him into the car.
If April showers bring May flowers, what do April SNOW showers bring, Bill? Hope you folks up north get to thawing out soon!
Had many fine English breakfasts back in '85 when I toured for a month there on a Norton motorcycle. Never did get used to fried tomatoes on the plate though, and that tea had me looking for a restroom less than an hour after finishing. The best food in England had to be their fine ales, at least back then. Not sure what the situation is after the Budweiser invasion though.
If this tariff stuff turns out not to be a big bluff, I think we're all in for a shock at just how much stuff comes from China these days.
Got the timing dialed in on the old motorcycle yesterday, first with a static setting, then bumping in a little more advance once it was running and I could use a timing light. Was able to get a nice steady and slow idle, but I'm hearing a bit of a miss at high RPMs. Probably points bounce, which I can live with until I can sort out the 12 volt conversion/flywheel stuff. Today the fuel tank has to come off one more time so I can adjust the rear mount for the steering damper, then it'll be time to see how it does out on the road. So tomorrow is the day to wait in line at the DMV to get some stickers for the license plate; maybe the heavy rain that is forecast wil help shorten the line?
Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!
