Regarding OnTrac, they hire the unemployable it seems. We had one delivery using OnTrac that left "our package" in the our trash can 1/2 mile from house. Not sure why they thought that was ok, but my daughter saw him do it and was bringing the trash can home anyway so she retrieved the package. It was not ours, the ontrac driver pulled into our driveway and wanted the wrong package back and gave us the correct one.

On another occasion, driver marked it delivered but never came. He brought it the next morning around 11am, told me that he was delivering past 9pm the night before and to avoid getting dinged for not finishing, he marked the the ones he had not delivered as delivered and then did the actual delivery the next morning.

I have complained to both Amazon and OnTrac. I have never received a package delivered by Ontrac that was on time. One of their drivers told me that they only have enough people to deliver 3 days a week in this area, but Amazon uses them as if they delivered 7 days a week. We are getting a new Amazon distribution center locally so perhaps some of our delivery times will decrease (or at least be more reliable).

Good evening to all! Got a little warmer today, up to 88. No rain, but there is some distant rumblings. Same as last evening, didn't get any rain though.

When I got to work this morning, saw a wrecked (totaled) unit in the yard. High speed impact into a broken down vehicle sticking out into the road. Luckily no one was injured, but a very costly accident.

Otherwise, the day went very good. Got home with enough time to do a few measurements and cut up some wood for my project. A good head start for a little bit of work tomorrow. I can't do much, having to take frequent breaks and relax the knee, but I think it actually makes it feel better.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RANDY! Hopefully many more trips will take place.

Ron, glad to hear you had some good news.

Farmer, good luck getting all the chickens to fly the coop!

Drew, I hope you are able to stay dry and I hope you chose to take a nap:Do

Jay, at least Brogen came and got you instead of just leaving you a foot present...

Everyone in the path of rain stay dry and please send some this way....

Prayers out to those needing. Have a good evening.

From what I heard, the one crew member just sat down in the swivel chair in the back and put on his safety belt about a minute before the accident....probably would have been much worse if he didn't.

hawkeye08 ... Thanks. I was working with etrailer today. It ended up that they couldn't help me out but they put me touch with Dexter axle. They are the makers of the old axle. I gave them the serial numbers of the old axles, they said that they will let me know if they can help me out.

ronjhall... Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, if it doesn't work out with Dexter.

My water loop pump is not working, so geo unit shuts down. The motor seems to run, as it gets warm for the short time it is trying to pump, but no water is flowing. Pulling 2 amps, so not locked. Will have to tear it down tomorrow night, and see what is damaged.

Good evening all. 68F for the start, clear sky, and nearly calm wind. Clear sky again today, with more moderate winds than yesterday, and high temp of 92F. bike ride, then trip to Sherman to get Volagi worked on, chain is jumping, and suspect rear derailleur bracket misaligned. Had dinner with wife at Red Lobster to drown my sorrows :(
RNG sorry about you lost sleep. sounds like good progress on your project.
Randy happy B-Day.
Buckeye, hope you get the rest of your A/A running.
Don do you have a heart monitor for your bike riding?
Prayers for all.

Eric. Question about sheep. Drove by some sheep the other day. Several of them were on their front knees grazing. Hind legs were straight. Is this normal?

That happens when they have problems with their feet, so that's the most comfortable way for them to eat. If there were several that way then it's likely a bacterial disease causing lameness, which unfortunately is all too common and hard to eliminate.

In the UK there is a big drive, pioneered by Dr Ruth Clements, to reduce the number of infections and at the same time cut down on the use of antibiotics.

Looks like a pleasantly warm 26C/79F day coming up for us. Only problem is that wasps are now making it more difficult to leave the windows open. My wife is encouraging me to start hanging out the wasp bottle traps.

Randy, happy birthday, hope your have a quieter 66th year.

I have cat litter, but no cats. It's great to keep some on hand for soaking up any oil leaks. Also find it better than sand for filling shooting bag rests.

Good morning all, 70 going to 79 with an 80% chance of heavy rain. Looks like a lot of rain going through just west of us. Slept in this morning, didn't get up until almost 5:30. Going to the dentist today, about 2 hr drive back into WV. Hope there is no flooding back there.

Randy, Happy Birthday!!!

Buckeye, hope you can figure out the pump and it is a cheep fix.

Have a great day, prayers sent. Ed
