Good morning!!!!

Good morning to all! Low dropped to 42 this morning, going up to 74. Getting cooler highs in the mid 60's this weekend. Ok with me...tired of the heat.

Drew, the driveway looks great. I'm glad the mower is cutting better with the proper blades. Sad that it takes so many times to get things right due to incompetence on the dealer's part.

Kyle, wow you had a busy day. Congrats on the son's 'knighthood'. You and the wifey have to get some credit...Great job on your part.

Don, good luck at the garage sale tomorrow. Have fun but don't buy too much other stuff:D

David, glad you recovered the drone without incident. Maybe an excuse to get one of those all terrain man lifts?

Time to go get ready for work. Everyone have a great day. Prayers sent

The low looks to be 33° this morning, it rained most of the night and change over to a light snow sometime this morning. So far it's just covering the roofs and some of the sagebrush. They are saying that the sun will come out later and be in the mid 50's. The forecast shows rain or snow for the next five days. It goes from one extreme to the next.

Not sure what I'll be doing today.

Kyle... Your son sounds like a up standing young man. Congratulations.

Hope everyone has a good start to the weekend.
CWB.

Drew, my Kubota leaves a small windrow like ridge, barely noticeable when blades are sharp and under deck is perfectly clean, but when the blades dull a little or any wet grass builds up under the deck, the ridge gets bigger. Different blades, leveling, tire pressures have all been tried with no change. Don’t get me wrong, nobody would notice but me until the blades start to dull, but it drives me nuts.

Good morning folks, I hope y’all are having a great day so far. 74 and cloudy dropping to 70 later, some showers are possible. Feels great, I need to wash the house and buildings and spray 5he driveway. I gotta see how much wind there is.

We are finalizing our plans for the Tennessee trip coming up in a couple of weeks.
Have a good day, prayers for my friends.

Christmas is coming, isn't it? :D

Yes, hard to escape that fact when the first thing to greet me, well second thing after the official greeter/card checker, yesterday at Costo, was a display of twelve foot Christmas trees (LED lights pre-installed) and glittery fake four foot in diameter wreaths. At least I heard no carols, yet. Is there no decency left in the world? It's not even Halloween!

Regardless, Drew, it's time to start thinking about playing Santa again, and putting yourself somewhere near the top of the "Good Boys'n'Girls" list.

BTW, the dealer didn't send out a mechanic. Mechanics are few and far between, as thinking about what you're doing, and paying attention to details so that unusual circumstances are seen as such, are increasingly rare traits amongst people in this new Digital Age. What they sent you was a parts replacer, and someone else probably handed him those blades along with your address and said "go put these on Drew's mower". Lord knows how long it took him to even find your driveway, and you were very lucky he even had the tools necessary to botch the job when he got there.:muttering::smiley_aafz:

69°F and .03 inches rain.

I think I hear the moringa calling to me.

Arms and shoulders complaining about yesterday.

Prayers for all
Be safe

Have a great day

70 going to 74...but still feels a little humid outside.

Kyle, what a day...congrats to the proud father of that knight! You'll have to get used to calling him Sir Son.

David, I had the same thought Eric had...an excuse to buy another drone as a rescue drone. It wasn't until the last pic that I got a good perspective on just how big that tree is.

Ed, If you are looking at buying new, Bass Pro and Green Top are both running good sales on their firearms and handgun vaults this weekends. Hanover is probably too far for you to drive but I'd be glad to check prices for you...or they might have their sales on their web sites.
I work real close to the hanover Bass Pro.

Speaking of vendor incompetence, the bumpers from the van are supposed to be delivered here by truck tomorrow, so I thought I should follow up with the trucking company and verify that they had my phone number so they can let me know when to meet them at the gate. Turns out that they not only had the wrong phone number (two digits were transposed in the area code), they had the wrong town and zip code for the delivery address! I provided the correct info to the fabricator, and I'm guessing the brokerage firm he contracted with are the ones that screwed the pooch. Hopefully it'll get straightened out...:confused2:

Meanwhile, the same guy that sent the wrong gear puller, twice, also sent the wrong seat cover and foam for the old BMW. I got word he's gonna try again, but needed a new charge card number. I'm running out of fingers and toes to keep crossed hoping these ninnies can follow instructions. These transactions have also resulted in a string of charges and refunds very much resembling the Gordian knot...:muttering:

I could start a rant about how computers haven't helped business one bit, and have only complicated things, but I'm sure you've heard all THAT before...

IIRC, Ocean City, Maryland is where US50 terminates, a route I followed from Sacramento, CA in '03 on a motorcycle.

Be prepared for a plethora of saltwater taffy shops, tee-shirt vendors, and fancy restaurants with even fancier prices, Top...

Back in for the day. 4 projects completed. Including lawn getting cut. Found out why mower has been getting slower to start. Dirty post connections. Cleaned them and I was off to cut lawn in a light rain. All kinds of clumping. I think it's the first time I have cut wet grass this year. Next cuttings will be by son and grandson.

Drew, Now I sure wish you had got that front mower with 4wd. I would be sending you a PM to work out a deal.

RNG, saw the same thing a Sams Club. Why not just leave that stuff out all year around?

74°F and spotty rain this morning, going up to 89° today.

Boss asked me this morning if I'd mind running a die over to our tool maker in Caseyville IL this morning. Told him I'd leave right away. Field trip! When I got back, we had no one available in Production to run a grab handle for a certain big green tractor manufacturer, so I put on some gloves and ran the 100-ton press for a couple hours. Our tool maker made a really nice three-station tool for this part. It flattens the ends in one station, trims them to a radius at the second, then pierces them for the mounting screws. It's a very efficient design. I actually enjoyed running it. A pleasant change of pace from the usual Quality Jerk stuff.

Pretty sure I've mentioned this before, but that's my bucket list ride right there. We live about 4 miles north of US-50 where it runs past Trenton IL.

Everyone is so busy, hard to keep up.
Kyle, congrats.
David, that was a tall tree. Amazing how much higher it seems looking down, than on the ground looking up.
A tenn trip. Havent done that trip this month..
I found a mud dauber nest under my truck hood on some wiring.

Another drive home in a torrential downpour last night. This is getting old.

I'd do it again, and offer to join you, but you'd have to keep up with traffic.:laughing::confused2::laughing::laughing:
