Good afternoon all. I am finally back from the boonies. Temp here this morning was 43F.

That snow in Calgary, AB is way too soon. They got a little over a foot.
Lots of accidents on the main drag from Calgary to Edmonton.

Was 96F and VERY humid today here. I tried to look at the wundermap radar up there in AB, and you have to turn the radar intensity way up to determine whether it is snowfall or a bunch of lakes on a day like this.

Kept spitting off and on so no bushhogging today.

Decided to take the afternoon, put the dogs in the truck and take wife to Waimea (Kamuela) to Dairy Queen. About 40 miles each way. Wx was overcast, some rain in spots, sun in others. All in all a nice scenic ride with the best company in the world that basically resulted in consuming several hundred unneeded calories. Life is good.

86 today. Currently 68.

Birds leaving tomorrow and Monday. So maybe you guys will have some fresh chicken to eat.

Took care of birds then met wife for horse show washing lessons. Come home and get ready to go to horse show. Program took 3 kids. They were the only ones in their class. Did have more participants in the stick horse race. Both of my boys did well. Oldest came in 2nd in stick horse race. Mix of children with and without disabilities and he stopped mid race because another kid fell down. But we worked through it. Had plans to go to a family reunion today. But ran out of time before the show.

Talked to the guy that buys my chicken litter. He said they were about done with corn and that another farmer had told him 25% of the beans were rotting in the pods. He’s not into his beans yet. They think that week and half of rain a couple weeks ago just hit the beans wrong. It was a misty rain.

You guys have been busy. I’ve been running wide open but not getting much done. Seems like another spurt of running for the kids. Still lots of bush hogging to do. Kids and wife are on fall break next week.

Rng. Your a man of many talents. No way I’d wipe and reinstall a computer. When they get to that point I go buy a new one. But I buy cheaper computers mostly.

good morning all. 68 going to 86 with maybe some afternoon showers.
Inside day for me, need to run to grocery store, then pick up house, garden club ladies coming this afternoon
with indoor plants to finish my sunroom. So probably not going to get much done outside but a day of rest is good.

Farmer, that sounds like a really fun day with the kids. You really put your heart into being a parent. As does Kyle and others.
Normal, but nice to see in a world of digital detachment.
