Hand and Foot later

I won 3 lost 2 but the ones I lost I never got in my foot.

Mostly, 9 balls in one day! That is some bad golfing. The most I found was 3 in one day and this month there have only been 2 so far.

They were from the Monsanto GMO variety. I know California can't get the seeds and I don't think your country allows the import of the seeds, too bad it saves a lot of time. It's called the PPPPPP plant (Peter pipper's perfect pickin pickle plant). Note: The jars need extra irrigation till they close up.

Humidity is in the 40s so it's a dry cool Texas hill country 90 something degrees kind of day. It's not at all like the high humidity shirt soaking steamy weather most of you are experiencing and its nowhere near the series of 112˚F of years past (not heat index number.)

Ron good to hear Betty is back home and only needed a bit more O2. Do you think the heat has anything to do with it?

Buckeye, hope your second round of treatments are easier than the first but more effective.

Laid back Sunday even the card group is not competitive on Sunday as it just has leisure play in the afternoon that does not go on your permanent record.

I need a short road trip this week to look for a compass rose. One that is flat, made of metal and can attache to my rock patio. My wife misses the other because it alway gave her a sense of direction. Besides I think Buckeye needs a beacon to locate me.
Yes, another compass.

Treatments are easy, i lay in bed and they hook up iv. Dont feel a thing except the awful bed. The bed is what gives me most pain.

No noticable improvement after 2nd treatment. Had little leg improvement yesterday.

Feeling weaker in upper body. Fingers hands lots of tingle.

She has not been out of the house for 3 weeks. Says it's too hot. Can't remember all that Dr said. But one was when humidity is high. There is less oxygen in the air we breathe.

Got Betty out of hospital. They put her on oxygen. She is doing much better.

Glad to hear she is doing better. Tell her I stay indoors as much as possible during this heat too.

BEF, sorry you're having to undergo more treatment, but I pray it starts getting better soon. We all want you home.

Randy, you take it easy there.

Bird, hope you're better today.

Prayers for all of you and our team.

I remember being in Houston on the day the Men walked on the moon. July 20th, 1969. The whole world was abuzz. I'm trying to convey to my kids just how big a deal it was, but I seem to be failing. I watched the PBS space programming they've been airing. Sure brings back memories. I used to could recite the actual televised launch narrative for the first couple of minutes by memory.

Church was good today.

Farmer good to hear the kids enjoyed the Japanese cooking.

RNG, hope you have a good trip. Still having trouble trying to wrap my head around the situation that the apples to apples comparison of Deere to anything (except Chinese) is $20,000 difference...wow.

Took 2 of my kids to Matagorda bay fishing. Had a good time, not catching fish, but watching the kids enjoying it. They saw porpoises, me rescue a pelican (with fishing string/hook/float) all caught up and hook thru his leg joint. Also my boy (70+ lbs) caught a big skip jack that literally got him off his stance and pulled him in the water over the back transom. He was so embarrassed, it took him a while to get back into things. I had just re spooled his reel with some 30lb spider wire, so it wasn't about to give. His 12lb filament had broken twice. It was funny, but we had to laugh under our breath. He'll have some big fish story to tell for a lifetime.

Don, maybe you could do a small tile mosaic, or stained glass.

You guys with bears need a good paint ball gun. Freeze the paint balls if they come back for a 2nd round.

Ted, hope the new living arrangement works out.

Jay, hope you and Ted's knees keep getting better.

Good evening all. 78F for the start, clear, calm. Sky stayed mostly clear, Did get breezy for most of the day, and high temp was 97F HI 104F, Last day of full heat, front comes through tomorrow morning, rain chances have evaporated :(, forecast for about a week of below normal temps. Chapel this morning wife put off her breakfast till lunch (Creme of Wheat) and I got the tires changed on the trek back to the 700CX28mm for less resistance on the road. Also got the bike computer changed over to new tire size. Otherwise it was a conserve energy day today.
Buckeye hang in there. still sending prayers.
Roy, I think Ron has it correct or maybe both condolence and congratulations :D
prayers for all.

I don't think Thomas' Mrs. would allow "shooting" at BOO BOO.

There was some very good programming on The Smithsonian Cable Channel last few days. They did the whole history of Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs over about 8 hours of programming. Gene Cernan, RIP, was a long time friend and he still holds the lunar land speed record of just over 11 mph.

I want avoid painting these doors very often, they get direct morning sun as they face near due east.
The doors, dividers and some of the frame, I can strip and spray with automotive paint, I致e had good luck with that in other doors, but the outer wood still needs something, I致e considered replacing that with vinyl. Any thoughts?

Why not just use automotive paint? Are you worried that something in the wood would be a problem?

Was that on foot? Or on the rover?
