Don, let me know which one you and Betty get. I don't know about 3 hours or so being long enough at times.
You get a second battery for longer times.

No, Ron, she has the big one in the house with a long hose. And when she leaves the house, she has the little 6 cu. ft. bottles (not the big tall ones they show on TV trying to sell their small oxygen generators). Margaret's oxygen bottles are less than 14 inches tall, and she has a carrying case or bag with a sling that the bottle is in. She thought the TV adds made those little oxygen generators look good, and I imagine they are good, but they're actually not much lighter in weight than the bottles Margaret uses. And between our Medicare and our high priced Medicare supplement, this stuff the doctor prescribed doesn't cost us anything. I'm not sure whether Medicare and our insurance would cover the Imogen or the other one that just recently started advertising on Tv.
When I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure my doc set me up with an o2 concentrator and several bottles for travel. With our medicare & supplement it was "free". I later checked on my medicare.com and found they were charging Medicare $500 per month. I found the exact model concentrator on Craig's list for $300 and bought it and cancelled the medicare deal.
My wife and I both paid into Medicare from the time it started but due to some big medical problems we have used up more than we paid in so now are working on our kids and grandkids money and that just doesn't set right with me, so I keep a pretty close eye on them.I have found a few instances where I thought it was a rip off by medical people and quit them, like $20,000 a month for infusions every 2 weeks for gout treatment.I threw a fit and the doc. started with the" it doesn't cost you,Medicare pays for it", which led to another quick discussion about where the money really comes from. He put me on allopurinol in large doses and it is working fine.
If you are still ahead on your contributions versus withdrawals medicare is fine, but if ,like me you are upside down then I,personaly, don't go for it. If you care, you can easily keep track of it and I do.
Good evening all. 79F for the start, mostly clear, calm wind. Most of the clouds today were the high thin cirrus, light to moderate wind, high temp of 97F HI 110. Drop the car for nav system repair this morning, then grocery shopping. Finished a Harlan Coben book then nap. Picked up the car with nav system working again (sync module) and dinner then 1 stop at Home Depot to get sand and caulk.
Don project came out nice. Probably done much faster with your tractor work
Buckeye, at least you were sleeping and got back to sleep
When on college, KC which had Coors 3.2 was 1.5 hours away by Cherokee 6. We would draw straws to see who got to go, 4 seat removed for the beer. Beer profits would pat about 65% of airplane cost so hours were cheep. Naturally did not sell ALL the beer
Randy hope to hear from you soon.
Wouldn't mind hearing from Ed either, wonder what projects he is working on.
prayers for all.
