Rick interesting read. Now they word the agreement differently to include all petroleum products.
Now mom got a letter from the rr commission about a waste site application. Can’t wait to read it.

"a waste site application."

That should be interesting?

71°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 92° today with a chance of more storms this afternoon.

We had pop-up thunderstorms around the area pretty much all weekend. Some hit us, some went around. The lake draining is going very slow. The gas-powered pump only runs for about 1-1/2 hours per tank, and they haven't been very diligent in checking on it. Add the run-off from the rains all weekend, and it really netted no change.

Got some running around errands done Friday morning, then mowed with the ZTR in the afternoon. It was warm, but not too bad while moving around. Saturday was spent puttering inside after dragging some large limbs to the back burn pile. We had dinner with the two boys at a wood-fire pizza place everyone seems to rave about. It was good, but definitely not a $100+ meal. Made a trip to Menard's Sunday morning to get some new deck boards for the dock. Wife decided we should redo the top and paint the whole thing while the water is down. She's going to paint it the same red color she used on the picnic table, as she has over half of it left. Sunday afternoon we went to a BBQ that the oldest stepson's father had at his house. Lots of people, and a pretty good time. Food was all delicious.

Good Morning!!!! 64F @ 7:00 AM. Sunny. High 92F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Never thought I'd hear 90F described as "cool", but that was the word on the weather forecast last night.:confused3: Better'n 105F, I guess, but much past 95F it all feels the same.

No motorcycle ride yesterday morning, either. Nothing but click, click when I hit the starter: Battery was flat. Measured a 0.65 amp parasitic load, so it's no wonder. Fooled around with some connections and it disappeared, but now I don't trust it. Replaced plain washers with crush washers on the forks; one side's still leaking. Probably why front brake isn't working so well...

Here are some photos from the air museum Saturday:

Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!

Very cool, RNG. I read somewhere over the weekend that a similar event is coming to the St. Louis area next month at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield. Perhaps the same event traveling the country ... dunno.

Our camping trip was a success, wife and granddaughter spent lots of time in amusement park while I rested and worked.. we decided not to park in general parking (check out time was 10am, park opens at 11, RVs can park in general parking so many folks check out of campground and then park in general parking for the day and then head home in the evening.. We went on home while daughter and granddaughter enjoyed the park.

We were planning on stopping by our daughter's place (the house build) to see how they are doing, but there really isn't any place to park the trailer so we took the trailer on home, then went out in Tahoe.. They were working on roof trusses, supposed to have a crew there helping but only one guy showed up.. they had just stood up the first gable end when we got there. Wife made us all lunch, then back to work, it was after 9pm when we left.

I might go out later today and see how things are going. I saw a job box on FB marketplace I might try and get, it would save them some time.

Mostly, I will get my valve in about 8 weeks through the TAVR procedure.

I came home with a stomach virus that I think is winding down.
BEF, still thinking about you.

Ron and Betty, prayers for comfort.

My flowers still look great!

Got a week of appointments and phone calls, but at leas I’m here to do it.
Have a good day folks.

This outfit is out of Phoenix, and it doesn't look like St. Louis is on their schedule, There are more than one outfit doing these kinds of demos. Get your tickets early if you want to fly; I found out the hard way they go fast...

Just back from the test ride; clutch stopped working about 20 miles out. Found a wide turn around, rode home, and found the adjuster on the back of the transmission backed all the way off. Two minutes with an open end wrench and now the lock nut is good and tight like it should be. I don't remember tightening it, but then I don't remember what I had for breakfast most days, either.

The day is so nice, I'm going back out...

TAVR; had to look that one up. Did they give you a choice of beef or pork? Just remember, stop painting your nails before you go!:D

I think sooner or later we're all gonna be in similar situations, Randy, and it's good to hear you're gathering strength and coping.

Stiff upper lip and all that, as Eric might say...

finished most of mowing, shirt went splat in laundry room.
Think I'll go out and do the field mowing in a/c this afternoon.
RNG, Kyle, thanks, I knew welding was stronger but yesterday's glue is today's construction adhesive, and wondered
if state of the art had gone forward.

sitting here trying to cool off, just not sure I want to head back out.
Once HI hits 110's I get pretty overheated.
There, convinced myself to conserve energy...
dry shorts and a nap sound pretty good

Ron, I can't hook and unhook any more. Whether car or trailer.
I'm more concerned about the 11 feet tall than I
am the 25 feet long as far as parking and getting around.
I'll have all the rv software running so I hopefully won't star on the next
Youtube video on underpass bridge crashes. It's pulling into, and getting out of, small town parking lots
that concerns me. I might look into some extra cameras.

It’ll be a piggy for sure, they just have to measure to get the right sized pig. Oink!

Wife and crew made it home from AR a little bit ago. Several backups on I81. Oldest son, my sister and her husband made up the driving crew. They came from cookeville TN today.

I fell asleep watching the little league classic. Now I'm wide awake at bed time.

I miss Edofalltrades being on here. Only TBNer I've meet. Hope you are doing well Ed. I think i have his number.

I went outside some today, was hot 91ー. Had a big storm over baltimore today, but east of here. Storms approaching now.

Time for a snack.

Prayers for Betty and Ron. You are in my thoughts.

5 days till i escape. Friday is a month in rehab. Havent been home since i went to ER on july 9. Been a long time.

Wow, being away from home that long is hard. I say party like it's 1999...

Not really. Not under her land but close and she has a water well so I'll have to figure out how to ask questions to assure her water supply is protected.

What are Saltwater Disposal Wells? - BSEEC

Anyone have any expertise on these disposal sites?
Experience with oil gas contracts, but not disposal wells. Know that is the last thing I'd want. Lots of traffic.

I had an aorta replacement in 2011 with a pig valve but mine was the old fashioned way.I'm looking at a mitral replacement which will be a TMVR procedure once they get it through the trials and approved. The one thing I'm mostly concerned with now is I'm sure they will put me back on blood thinners and after my experience with them after 2 stent procedures I really don't want any more to do with them.
They caused acute anemia in me due to micro bleeds internally and once I got off them, that and some other problems cleared right up. I'm curious as to which thinners they have you on and if they have said how long you will have to take them. I hope they are keeping a close on your blood work so you can stay ahead of any problems. With mine my cardiologist missed it and my primary doc found it in routine blood work. After 9 transfusions and 11 iron infusions plus I don't know how many procrit injections I saw the head of cardiology at Loma Linda University Hospital and he told me I needed to stop the thinners as they were only necessary for 1 year. He was right and most of my problems cleared up in a short time.

I truly hope you don't have any of the complications I had since you've been through enough already.I'm really glad you are having the TAVR and really wish I could have had it. Get well so you can enjoy your new marriage.

Don, BIL is Tom Aley Ozark Underground Lab. He said to find out how deep the well is going to be and how deep the casing is going to be, what kind of protection to metal parts of the casing, will railroad commission pay for baseline testing of the water well, if so the testing needs to include cholrides.
