When we found that my Mom needed a pace maker she had become unable to stay awake, so my sister & I took her to the doc. Her doc was out of town and some young guy was filling ink and when he found out Mom was a smoker he went on a tirade about her quitting and didn't even listen to her heart. She was 77 and had smoked most of her life and wasn't going to quit. We left there and took her down the street to my doc and he said that she needed a pace maker and set us up with a doc in Denver. She did not want to do it but my sister and I pushed her into it and she never forgave us.
This was about the time several of my older siblings were starting to have heart problems and my oldest brother had already died from it.Mom blamed my sis and I for keeping her alive and making her watch her kids die.About 10 years she gave up and willed herself to die before any more of her kids did.

In retrospect, I think she was right from the beginning, the only thing harder than losing your parents or spouse is losing a child. Of course every case *** every person is different.

Thanks Jim,
Hmm, Mom's Cardiologist stressed this was quality of life not an extension of life procedure. This will be totally her decision I just want the info provided is a fair assessment of what to expect, all the positives and negatives. Kyle what was the age of the people you know that got pacemakers?

Having a cu of coffee, trying to determine what to do for the rest of the day.

Got the trench finished that will supply power and water to my Patio/Cover, Fireplace, and Potting Shed, using the little Max28XL TLB.
As I have said the ground around here is very hard, and the little girl works her butt off ! Waiting to hear from BXpanded.com about a Piranha Edge for my BH.

Patio Cover is up, electrics being installed as I type, ended up costing a little more than the quote but agreed too cost. 34 feet long x 17.5 feet deep... about $11/sq. ft., Alumawood, no maintenance... hopefully.

Should have all of the PVC connected and wires run for the Fireplace and Potting Shed this evening after the Patio Cover Guys finish up, made it to the Patio Cover Post this AM, left it for the Installers to finish t up for the Cover electrics !

After the electrical is completed, Water Pipes are next.

Not too warn today, started around the low 60s, 71 now headed for a high of... 83... going to be a great outdoor day.

Gotta get my Honey-Do list together.

Did 5 porch laps today in PT.

Then had friends visit, sat on front porch it is so nice out.

Tried to get in more trouble, but couldnt open large barn door by myself. Wanted to get mower outside to blow it off. Then unhook it and get it on the massey.

But i sat in a chair and kind of pondered on it for awhile, then came back in.

Tomorrow is neurologist visit.

Spent some time catching up on project, finished power washing one house for the life of me I don't know why I put on a 20×32 foot deck every time I need to power wash it it takes 2 hours for that deck, installed a new bifold door and track moved rugs from one house to another to keep wife happy and the important job WAXED the JOHN DEERE.
Enjoyed all the shared photos lots of projects going on.
Roy thanks for covering the Connecticut weather. Next time you spend a few days in Connecticut let me know maybe we can get a coffee or lunch.
BEF great therapy seat time good news you are constantly improving.
Have you seen the Google commercial where the girl asks her dog if he ate all the treats? Every time it is on and my dog hears treats he jumps up and heads to the pantry door where his treats are kept
Jay my diet started with prep about 6 months ago, figured that after getting cleaned out was a good time to start. I took some advice from Don and cut way back on meat and lots of veggies also cut out most carbs, imagin an Italian having pasta only once a month. Anyway down all most 20 lbs.
Well tomorrow is range day have to qualify for another year to maintain HR218.
Don I did have a good meal on Sunday, did a prime rib on the Webber. IMG_20190915_181835761.jpeg
