52F and clear @ 21:45, high temp hit 64F today. Headed down to 41F overnight.

Last two boxes of white worms tended and fed first thing.

Got air filter blown out and foam pre filter oiled and installed and then put it back in the Cub.

Then I put out the orange half for the oriole:

Looks like we have some volunteer wildflowers around the base of that maple. Not sure what they are, but we'll take them.

Checked mealworm feeder out front, half of the 30 mealworms I put in there yesterday were gone ... (y)

Pulled out small veggies plants from the garage and watered those with the little hand sprayer.

Spent most of the day up in the shop.

Some cleaning done.

Got new handle installed on a square-nose shovel with rivet.

Got the head for the Craftsman bow rake removed from what was left of the old wood handle. That took quite a while, drilling, chiseling, etc.

Sharpened The Woman's Cutco Pruners and a 1/4" spade bit.

Was a comfy 80F in there when I left to come back down to the house.

Washed up a vase and then went out back and clipped five tulips for The Woman, four dark red and one medium red:

Really liking the dark red ones.

UPS had dropped off her new string trimmer, so I went ahead and assembled that and put the batteries on to charge.

Mowed most of the east side down here around the house.

Started doing the dishes and some kitchen clean up, got most of the dishes done.

About that time I gave Her a call and found out She was about to head for the barn. Told Her that I had used half her orange for the oriole. She said be sure to have your camera ready next time he shows up.

Wasn't but a couple of minutes after we got off the phone, guess who showed up on the suet feeder out the kitchen window:

Evidently found the orange half I put out too - it was rotated 90 degrees on the screw I had placed it on next time I looked out there.

All in all a fairly decent day.

Hope everyone had a great Saturday ... (y)

About the reservation thing, last summer you had to pay online for a reservation to drive up Cadillac mountain in Acadia National Park. great view if the weather is nice. Nice revenue stream for the Park which I think is way underfunded.

Chris

That’s a new one. It’s just a little hill. Can’t imagine paying for that.

Up to 4.16” of rain.

Finally remembered to change Subaru oil. Almost forgot again.
Most of day and evening doing paperwork. Found a $112 overcharge on a credit card, from a food truck at work. They are here this week, gotta get that resolved.
Most other bills paid, Credit cards reconciled.

Roy, that really sucks. Do hope you bounce back.

The wild dogwood is really pretty and the yellow buttercups are blooming in the field, just too messy to get a picture.

Roy, don’t be doing that stuff! Get well soon and don’t try to do what you aren’t supposed to. I’m sure you’ll be back on a tractor before you know it.

Prayers for your recovery, Roy. Did the angina play a role? Warning sign? Speedy recovery.

First, thanks to all of you for the best wishes and get well soon!!

Don't think the angina had any role in the stroke.

I'm getting well pretty quickly...leg function pretty normally, occasionally it just doesn't work. That's why I'm using the walker and will continue to do so.
The doctors said it was a full fledged stroke, but it seems I'm recovering pretty quickly (unlike my first stroke which took months to heal...and some things never came back).
I'd call this a mini stroke, but I ain't a doctor.
