I'll get my neighbor's son (works as a logger) to take care of it...still attached to the trunk and I'm not agile enough.
Once it's down, I'll limb and chip what I can

I am trying to recover from hurting the shoulder using a pole saw. Those saws are fairly heavy when used in the extended position and I am not as strong as in my younger years. Ordered a set of rubber exercise bands in order to strengthen the muscles. We will see how it goes.

It looked pretty solid. It's actually a large branch that overhung the lawn a good 20-25 feet.
It was dark when I left at 0530. Stepdaughter went to work when it was light, but she didn't see it down...but probably didn't look in that direction.
My neighbor lost the top of a smaller tree too.
My chipper can (and has) chipped to 8". That was with my 4520 which had more PTO HP then my 4052R. The only time I miss the 4520 is times like this. I'll try chipping up to 8"...maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised

My EGO battery pole saw extends around 13 feet. It's not too bad to handle, but I don't try to trim continuously.
Biggest PITA is when I get it pinched...

The pole saw extends up to 16 ft and the engine and the extension requires some muscle. I have a harness for it that distributes the weight over the shoulders but need to remember to use it

What do you have for a harness?
I've been looking at the Easy Lift but it's darn expensive. But my Echo PPT-280 is fairy heavy, especially with the 4' extension.
