Studs for the shop build got delivered today. I've been waiting to start this project since I bought the place, but I guess I'm committed now... Trusses on order.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 6C (due to wind chill) and it's presently 18.1C. It's clear with a steady wind and there was 5.3mm in the gauge at 0900.

No observable damage from yesterday's howling winds, although I did hear the occasional metallic 'rattle'. Hmmm...

It's 'into town' day for mail/petrol/groceries.

Nissen huts require an interior frame. Q-huts do not. I can get a Q-hut 52x28', but it IS pricey. Maybe it is a Canadian thing.

But the sheet metal can be flat (corrugated but not formed) sheets, while the frame can be formed the same way tube greenhouses are. It might be cheaper, it might not, just throwing it out there. I do know of at least three rather large Nissan-type structures near here that are quite vintage yet still in great shape.

Well this sure isn't morning and I though long about before posting.
It's been a long week already.
Lost my brother Sunday we had know it was coming for quite some time.

Then I hadn't been feeling real good for a few weeks and Monday was a rough day,
sent my Primary care doctor a message and got a call back to get to the ER.
So spent the afternoon waiting in the ER with breaks for some tests then got stuck
in a room at the ER at 6 for more testing and scans, ended up getting admitted at 2AM to the Hospital
diagnosed with Congestive heart failure (failure had me asking what in the hell it's still working) so
it still works just not right. So new diet mild exercise and see what happens. Between COPD, arthritis,
and Afib now this have to wonder about things at times.
Every one stay safe and healthier then me

Yea, lying in a Hospital bed this evening typing this hoping to get out and get home tomorrow.
Lots of good looking young nurses and I do like eye candy and if they are skilled and working it's even better.
But I'd rather be home working on my stuff or helping my nephew.

Sorry for the loss of your brother. Way too young, but looks like he had a great attitude. I lost my oldest sister at 62 to cancer.

One would think with all the eye candy in the hospital, you would want to hang around there some more.
