Wattle tree wood rarely grows thick enough to use for heating firewood.Wagtail , wondering what kind of wood you guys burn in the winter ?
Do you use the Waddle tree wood ?
What is considered hard wood down their ?
Mostly we use certain types of eucalypt for firewood, "ironbark" being the best. Also certain pine trees, like a "she-oak".
Other than 'non-native' hardwoods that you'd be familiar with, most eucalypt trees are considered a hardwood, including the Blackwood trees on my property.
