My Grandfather on our farm pond, in a homemade wooden boat. Before by time. He died when I was 3, so I don't remember him.

Nice. I don’t have any pics, maybe someone else in family does. My Dad built 4 boats similar for us boys. Guessing probably 8x4x1 as they were plywood. They stayed at the lake property. At some point I acquired a small Merc, beefed up the transom and had fun. It was a balancing act as motor alone caused an extreme list to the rear.

Greetings All,

Helped a buddy last week, moving an old Harry Ferguson 35 tractor last week, using my flat deck trailer. Interesting tractor, very similar to the MF35 that I started mucking out the barn with at my uncle's dairy farm, when I was 9.

I had a little tractor time recently. Moved a bit of sand. Pulled the zero-turn out from hiding.

I'm trying to get some yard work done on this stat Monday. I need to go to town for a battery for the zero-turn (no juice at all, and a jump didn't work). then re-inflate the tires, and hopefully get a first pass done

Looks like the meeting with the lawyers is delayed (her decision), until Sept / Oct --- uggh. Everything still on hold.

Mostly, with the EPA security mandates our dumps (actually Transfer stations) are only open 3 day/ week, closed Wed. Closest 2 to me are Mon, Th, Sat and Tu, Fri, Sunday. Basically taxpayers pay to have a security guy sit in truck all day while open. Of course they will reprimand if catching you doing something naughty, like me removing heater element from a discarded clothes dryer once. I needed to build a load test for generator. I humbly apologized and picked up the element with my tools.

With special appearance by members of the Congressional White Cause, joined by contingents from All Lives Matter, Oriental Lives Matter, and White Lives Matter. Parade Marshalls will be esteemed couple from SMF-. Other non discriminating special interest groups may be interested.

Canada may be a bit different, but here in US discrimination is against the law. We wouldn’t dare focus on a special, non inclusive group based on race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, politics, or religion. NEVER, unless…

My apologies to any one offended by above organizations. Please tell me again why their role model organizations don’t offend you.

RNG, hope you can get all the items sold easily and not too many 'tire kickers'.... sounds like they started already.....

I usually get two or three "is it available" responses within an hour of posting on Facebook Marketplace. Canned responses are built right into the interface, but some people can't be bothered to read the ad and learn that I won't respond to them.

Birds are tearing through the feeders, 2 feeders maybe lasting a day. The one crazy bird is still trying to build a nest on the back porch. I clear the debris 3-4 times a day... one would think after a week + of clearing, it would go elsewhere.....

Try waiting for it with a garden hose, then give it a good shot when it lands. Worked great for me when I first got here and barn swallows tried building nests under the front porch.

All quiet on the western front here.... hope it stays this way at least for a little bit.....
BIL is going to come and visit the first week of August. He'll have a peaceful visit here.

Did have a chance to get a couple more planters made and installed. It was interesting getting them around the existing trees. Just removed one side. Was hoping to just pry open one corner, but couldn't get it to open wide enough. Still have to remove the tpost stakes.

Anybody hear from Bird? There was someone asking about him in another thread. He hasn't posted since Sept. last year. Hope he's ok.
