That is essentially true, but generally the pilots will fly as neighborly as possible. Perhaps a conversation with the neighbor voicing your concerns passed on to the pilots would be a big help. Also keep in mind that they are going to want to approach into the wind. Our prevailing wind is out of the NW.

One other consideration, if diplomacy fails, is that in PA while you can land anywhere with the property owner’s permission, using unlicensed landing sites is limited to “occasional use”.

Back from errands. Picked up my meds at wallyworld, wife’s med at different place, lunch at mission. Almost a free meal, I got $20 gift card from them last time I was there and found a hair in my food.
I need to find new cardio Dr closer to home, mine retired.

successful afternoon, built my new workbench, then moved lots of stuff around in garage, and
ta da the car now fits. Just have to be very careful parking, with sensors beeping like mad.

happy to see surveyor out looking for corner points, need resolution on property line so I can install a tall fence to keep
crazy neighbor away. Surveyor said he did next house down so he already had half the work done, could do a "refresh" or whatever
they call it.

Most town surveys already done, all you have to do is find the pins. However, it does depend on your crazy neighbor being able to comprehend a straight line between 2 consecutive pins. Mine in VA couldn’t.

Bill, my wife Kathleen always had the Subaru Forrester model , quite a few actually! We switched to a Honda CRV about 4 years ago, the seats are way more comfortable than the Subaru seats! Your right on the hardness of those seats !!

We have Fire! rusted pipes replaced and water blown out of line. The lava rock was a lot easier to replace than take up, just dumped the buckets. Exact size tan cover to keep the water out is ordered. It really puts out the heat. The black under the star was from the water that was blown out of the gas line.

Good (late Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.4C and it's presently 23.9C, mostly sunny, humid & calm. There was 5.1mm in the gauge from yesterday morning.

Slept in this morning 'til 0900 due to Penelope the Pussybeast being reluctant to 'come in'. 2315 to bed and then I couldn't get to sleep so I popped a couple of "panadol" tablets.

Anyway, today (arvo) is 'into town' day for groceries. I may get to a project or two later on.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 23° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 33° with some sun. Got Christmas Tree up. Rest of the day was spent conserving energy. Have a couple small projects in shop today.

PopGadget/Paul so flying <100feet from our dwellings is not against the rules? They have an open field behind the house they could use for approach rather than shake my house and the one downhill of me. Well at least they don't come in very early/late, so far.

I have sympathy for you. I may have spoke about the helo flying crazy low over my home about a month ago. National Guard Blackhawk. I wrote in a complaint and they denied they were low....should have expected it. Will have to take video at night to catch them. I told the secretary lady basically to make sure the commanding officer gives his team a donkey bbq for flying too low over a home. I'm all for our servicemen to be properly trained. Just go on a base to do knap of the earth flying.

There is no way to tell the damage caused by the pressure pulses from the rotor wash.

They are flying tonight again. I have my new phone camera ready. First time flew over maybe 250 feet up. Not near as low as before noise wise. The fact that the "blew me off" has me mad at their denial.

Kyle, three letters come to mind...FAA they get enough complaints maybe they will get off their hienies and do something about it.

I am legal again. Tried to get on the MTO website and couldn't so I phoned them and they emailed me the reinstatement letter, there is also one in the mail, but G-d knows when it will get here as the PO is on strike. I have until the end of January 2025 to write and eye test for the A and also show up with a semi to get my A back or do nothing and run around with a G. I'll stay with the G.

We got a snow squall watch in effect 10-15cm (4-6") tonight, tomorrow an additional 4-6" and then tomorrow night another 4". Last year when they said 10-15 cm we got 10-15". Time will tell.
