Good morning!!!!

17°F and cloudy this morning, got up to 27° today. That wind was cold this morning.

Took about 20 minutes to get my car out of the garage this morning. Driveway was all ice over snow. Finally got that cleared, but it just sat there and spun. Not going anywhere today. Sent a text message to my boss to let her know, and she replied that she was still in Florida trying to get back. Owner of the company called me to let me know that one employee showed up today, and wanted to know if there was anything for him to do. He's a parts department guy, so the answer was no, not with no one else there. Chatted a bit with HR, and they cancelled 2nd shift as well.

Tried to log in remote later in the morning to get some reports done, and the remote net extender wouldn't accept my password. Our new IT guy had just reset everything a couple weeks ago, and now it doesn't work at all. So much for getting anything done there.

Tractor was dead, so I put the charger on it and went inside for a nap. I at least got that done. I did attempt to do some shoveling around the top of the driveway, but that stuff was heavy. My back is still unhappy with me.

Went back out about 3pm, gave it two glow plug cycles, and the tractor fired right up. The snow/ice mixed garbage moved a lot faster after that. Got the driveway cleared to the road, and was surprised to see the county had already plowed our road. Nice.

Wife is making grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner. I can already smell it. Gotta go.

Best wished for you mother, Kyle.

Good evening, gents.

I did play in the snow a little with the cab tractor. Should put the front blade on the BX sometime and try it. My FIL used to plow their drive and street with it.
Finger still sore from burning it.
Cut some foam board pieces to use to seal up 3 joist bays in basement, where joists extend past the foundation wall. got them fitted in, but not spray foamed around yet. Want to get ready to spray a whole can when I do that.
When I built the house, I subbed out the insulation. Unfortunately some things weren't done that well, as far as air blocking. A few years back I had to go up under the porch ceiling and install some blocking. The insulation just ended in an open bay in the area above the porch, and air just blew around the insulation. I blocked and foamed the bays off below the baffles. When I built the garage, I placed foam blocks below the baffles, then foamed them in place.
25 deg out, but house feeling colder than it did last night when it was colder outside.
Melted glove where I hit the muffler

Spounds like it all went well. Chaos sometimes follows people.

Sounds like canada has a new independence.
Not really, he is staying at the helm until a sucksessor is voted into his party. Misspelling deliberate.
Good Evening Dennis,

Yeah, sounds like Trudeau is resigning!
Unfortunately I cannot say what I am thinking on this platform or any other platform. We don't have freedom of speech anymore. Nor do we have the right to peaceful protest.

Got just about 10" of snow at home. Around 6" at the office. And my tractor sits in the garage patiently waiting for me. I should be able to use it Wednesday late. Maybe. Wife sent me a pic of the house.
