Good Afternoon,
Just a parting shot of what my neighbor will be mowing with that 4 ft mower and 20 hp. He will have plenty of seat time that’s for sure 😂 you don’t even see all of the property from where I took the picture on my north hedge row 😉
Pretty view for seat time..

Had a power outage at church this morning as I was recording/streaming a ladies event, first video got corrupted when power went out. I thought that computer was on UPS, I was wrong...... But they did feed me. Tonight the church ladies are getting together to eat, so the guys are going to Mission BBQ, we will have the better deal.... lol

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 9.9C and it's presently dipped down to 7.2C [it's those early Autumn mornings][[heading to 18C]], clear & calm.

Not much to report from the pre-polling yesterday. Busy, then tapered off in the late arvo. I spent too long on my feet as my left leg cramped up whilst sleeping.

I'm off to Church in about a half hour (I'm leading the Morning Prayer service) and then the rest of the day is His... although I do have to make a quick trip to the tip + recyclables (wine bottles) and then give the house a vacuum.

That's about it, take care all.

David, by the looks of your 'new'(?) cooler, somebody dropped it on the corner. Sure is hard to get decent parts these days.

Many years ago I had a friend that had 2 St. Bernards. A young one and a ten year old. The ten year old had on average 2 seizures per month. The vet put him on phenobarbital, the dog walked around like a strung out zombie. I don't know what happened in the end, he went west and I stayed in the east.

Ken, back in the late 70’s has a basset hound that started having seizures when older and increasing frequency. Diagnosed as epilepsy, but who knows. Vet prescribed meds attempting to control the seisures. Low dosage didn’t help and high enough to reduce only made him a basket case. Vet eventually recommended him put down when he’d experience multiple per day on reduced meds. Vet was also my neighbor directly across street from us, so no reason to doubt his advise. suspect (hope) things are much better these days. Have only had to put down 2 in my life, both medical issues, but still difficult.

Good evening all. 66ºF for the start, overcast, light breeze. Light to moderate wind, overcast most of the day, heavy rain in forecast but cap remained in place, high temp was 78ºF. Yesterday was write-off, got hit with virus, trying to throw up with only 1 cup coffee not pretty. Diarrhea kicked in during afternoon. Did manage to drink some water and electrolytes and a piece of toast. Today was much better, was able to have a piece of toast and not much nausea. Soup for lunch, and 1/2 BBQ dinner. Missed German Fest 60 mile ride :(. Was able to do some puttering today, changed bike back to Volagi, bike needed a lot of work after rear derailleur hanger failure. Will not got to Chapel tomorrow, don't want to get the old folks sick :)

The light went out about 1:30 this afternoon. Hydro One texted that they would be back on by 5:30 P.M. They were back on at 3P.M. I was about to shut down the computer at 3:15, but the lights came back on. My APU tells me how much run time I have left and by 3:15 I would be down to 25%. Win, win for me.

Coffee has finished brewing. 32° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 67° with sun and a few clouds. Got some garden pond cleanup done. Then did some neighbor visiting. They were out doing yard cleanup. Before first grass mowing. Added a couple of neighbor help items to my To-Do list. Later today will try to get some grass cutting on back of property.
