That’s the plan/hope.

Just got notification a couple hours ago that my special order 6” x 12’ corner posts are in at Menards.

Already picked up the 4 x 4 x 12’ line and gate posts … all 24 of them … they have been drying for about a week.

If an 8’ tall electrified fence don’t keep Bambi & Company out I give up …

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 3.0C and it's presently 11.8C, mostly clear & calm.

Yesterday's excursion resulted in all of the remaining signs, plus a few extra that I hadn't put up, collected. I just have to unload the ute. <whew>

I believe that the wine faeries have magically dropped off a couple of cases at the PO, so I'll go and fetch those later.

Got the new deck chairs out this morning, and it was nice sitting on the new deck this evening.
Didn't do too much else, just a couple odd and ends stuff. Need to get concrete in the back hole for the lower deck. Ran out and picked up chinese for lunch, because didn't have any bread. Wife was out at a womans get together for lunch. Worked on sunday class some.
Was a nice day weather wise.

It would have been nice here today if it wasn't for the 20 mph north wind.

Third load of wood delivered, the man got his loot. I'll maybe push that load up tomorrow. He delivers me 4.5 cords/load and only charges me 4 cords/load. I've been dealing with him for about 10 years now. He always tries to get me wood that was cut and split last fall. This load is mostly maple, beech and ash, there might be some oak in it too. I'll check the moisture content tomorrow.
The two cords I've got left over from this past winter will help to kiln dry the new wood starting in November.

Poured cup of hot coffee. 31° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 65° with plenty of sun. Grocery shopping went good. Got Trac-Vac out and to neighbors that did not get leaves out of flower gardens last fall. Wil get that cleaned up in next few day. Another neighbor had a water leak in basement. Pressure tank was leaking. Called a Plumber. Got a new tank installed before day was over. No plans for today yet.

Took my wife to breakfast yesterday, then a Costco run, grocery store. Got home and Della said: what about me? Took her for a hike and swim, and then mowed until I was afraid I was gonna run out of diesel. Need to go get some today.

good morning, 52 going to 60 about 1/2 inch of rain overnigt

The new goslings are cute. The geese are good parents and come back year after year. They usually have 6 or more but maybe a predator got them. Noticed they were not let them swim in the pond so maybe snapping turtles is a problem

Picked up more screws and OSB sheets yesterday, Easier to handle than the heavier 3/4 inch plywood

Should be a good day for more barn work

RS good to see you back. Hope the garden fence project will keep the deer away

We have had no deer get into our garden after fencing 8 ft high. Used 60 6 inch posts with 4 inch wire net and did not electrify. Also installed 16 ft and 8 ft gates that have held up very well with no rust after several years

Good morning, the low is 40 and going up to 61°F. Sunny! Wind NNE 8 mph. I can handle that. Sure is bright out.

The meter will get installed today, the house and tractor topped off, the moisture checked on the new firewood and the last load pushed up.

It is officially summer here...I killed a mosquito in the house yesterday.

Good morning TBN!!
50 this morning with high of 80 and small chances of thunder storms. .07 inch yesterday and some real small hail. Lot's of barking but no bite. More coming next week.
Bridge work again yesterday. Hauled a whole lot of Carolina red clay and extended the drive out another few feet. I can almost touch the tank from the left with the FEL. Dropped 10 bags of sakrete on top of clean rip rap and gravel. I'll go down in a little bit to see how it faired in the rain.

Now it's time for a second cup
