68F, cloudy and moist @ 11:00, only calling for a high of 69F for the day. Showers becoming less numerous this afternoon.
Rainfall was 0.13" overnight, just enough to keep the ground moist ...
Got hopper feeder refilled first thing, also scattered some for the ground feeders. Tube feeders will need refilled today.
Abundant goldfinches have been putting on a show out at the feeders.
Got new forsythia bed sprayed from the south end up to the power pole, which is just shy of 1/2 way. Took just under 1/2 gallon and emptied that sprayer out.
Refilled both 1 gallon glyphosate sprayers.
Moved the old deck boards from around back with the forks on the Kubota to up in front of the shop.
Was going to go down to Salineville and pick up the last of the diesel yesterday but the owner had plans and wasn't going to be home so that will have to be rescheduled.
Instead I took the battery-operated string trimmer up and trimmed around the oak trees along the road. Raked up all the debris from that and took it over to the compost pile. Still need to spray around those and mulch again.
Also trimmed back a large multifora rose that was growing up out of the evergreen shrubs that surround the gas meter and hauled the debris over to the brush pile at the edge of the woods.
Got new cup/phone holder installed on the Cub.
Once that was done I swapped the forks for the bucket on the Kubota and went down to the woods and gathered up the bags of concrete (now hardened ...

) that were sitting on the nice tarp a neighbor gave me and took those over and dumped them in front of the barn.
Then used the Cub and the dump cart and retrieved that tarp and brought it back to the house and got it washed off.
Got a couple of fuel filters ordered from Amazon for the diesel dispensing pump along with a 2" camlock ---> 3/4 MGH cap which will be used to fully drain any IBC totes.
UPS delivered the last of The Woman's clothing items from Macy's. She said all of the rest of it is going back ... which is the reason She's no longer allowed to order clothing off Amazon (never fits, always a problem, has to be returned, etc. ...

)
Just go shopping at a brick and mortar store, ends up being a lot easier in the long run.
Last item was getting all the fence posts tarped with the 2 tarps.
With that done I knocked off for the day.
Thinking today might be a good day to run down to Menards and pick up the roofing tar for the fence posts. Also need to grab some 1/2" rebar to stake cages around various trees and shrubs.
Maybe take an inventory of seeds and see if there is anything we need and swing by the garden center and see what they have available in the way of plants for the garden.
Otherwise, see what else comes up.
Hope everyone is having a decent day ...
