Sitting here watching Mr. Mom. Laughed at the "220, 221 whatever it takes" line. But I'd forgotten about the dream scene where his wife shoots him. Martin Mull's character asks her if she used a .38 and she says ".38, .39 whatever it takes" :laughing:

I am not usually a fan of remakes...but one film that is a remake and is also one of my all time favorites is 'Payback' (with Mel Gibson)...it is a remake of 'Point Break' with Lee Marvin and Angie Dickerson...an unusual case of where the remake is much better than the original...IMO...

I think both are good...but "Payback" is better...

The History Channel aired all ten episodes of Band of Brothers yesterday. Dang commercials added about 3 hours to it. One of my all time favorites.

I thought the Tom Horn movie was pretty good, not sure if I care for Steve McQueen in a western though, he goes with Bullet much better.

You mean to tell me North by Northwest didn't beat the movie West Side Story in best movies of all time, heck even Follow that Dream by Elvis is better then that movie, I even like The Sound of Music much better.........
A good movie to watch just for the Mt Rushmore scene and or if you think your loosing your mine....

North by Northwest is one of Hitchcock's best movies, IMHO. It's the only Hitchcock movie I bought on Blu Ray

That was actually a biography...IIRC, it was about a Navy vet who became a screen writer...Frank Wead (again, IIRC)
One point of trivia, John Wayne did this flick sans toupee
