Festus sings a little a few times in Gunsmoke. He is a semi regular before he is Dillons side kick. I had to look it up because he has a really good voice, and yes he was a singer.

Yes, both he and Dennis Weaver were quite different from their characters on Gunsmoke. Festus was so different you have to look twice to make sure it's really the same guy.

I would put humans first on the list of an undesireable element on the planet. Everything else higher in value.

They are lucky that beings with Trillions times the inteligence of human doesn't treat them as humans do other creatures or the planet. But hey, that's the purpose of the Earth. Otherwise, believe me, we wouldn't be here.
