Nice tractor!!!

When I was shopping for a subcompact 2 years ago, I was looking at used 2305s & 1026rs. The things that sold me on the 1026r were the following.

Much better seat suspension.

Drive over auto connect deck.

Position control on the 3 point hitch.

Being able to remove the 3 point hitch arms when using the mid mower deck, if you have the mechanical lift.

Folding ROPS.

Don't forget;
The top link is mounted to the frame, not the cheap aluminum gear case that was on the 2210/2305
The hydro has a cooler, not a cheap plastic fan on the drive shaft.
Fuel filler on the fender instead of the top of the hood.

Only thing NOT improved is the price! In 2004 I bought my 2210 with loader, 62c deck, roto tiller, and rear blade all for $14k which I paid for with inheritance money. At the county fair this year sat a pretty new 1025r with loader and auto connect 60" deck bargain priced for the fair at "only" $20k !!! Looks like my 2210 will have to run another 20 years....
