Harv - How about $44k down, then the rest at $25/mo. installments? I think I said I'd deliver for expenses - at least I hope that's what I said. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Well, that tears it. Too bad -- we were so close on the other numbers. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

MChalkley:
Nice to see someone else who likes these machines so much (my user name used to be willingtonpizza).
I have a PT425 and I am very happy with it. This machine is built very heavy with plate steel instead of sheet metal, even the roof is 3/16 thick (incase of arial attack from planes with machine guns?). Enough can't be said about the stability of these machines, I have had the bucket extremly overloaded with large logs (well over 1,000lbs) that lifted the rear tires off the ground and the tractor stayed stable. The only thing that took a while to get used to was backing up. It is a little different with an articulating machine.
I paid less than $10,000 for a 25hp 4wheel drive, bucket, 60" mower and 6 way snow plow.
When you call down there for information or even to buy one it is amazing how low key they are. Absolutely no pressure, just information.

Good luck PTRich

Mark, is your bucket set up with a quick attach mechanism that allows skidsteer implements, such as a hydraulic augur, to quick attach on the loader arms? If so, can the jaws valve/button on the loader control the hydraulics on the augur or other loader-mounted bobcat implement?

For completeness sake, what implements/attachments, if any, are you including in your asking price.

Glenn,

No, no quick-attach on the loader, though it could be done easily enough. I just never had a need to.

As for what I'm selling for the $45k price:

- L4310HST w/4-in-1, as described ad infinitum, ad nauseum in "L4310 enhancements" thread in "Tractor Customization" forum
- Bradco 609 backhoe w/thumb
- Landpride 96" HD blade w/hydraulic gauge wheel, removeable end plates
- Danuser digger w/30" auger
- Bush Hog digger w/12" & 24" augers
- Landpride 60" rotary cutter (deck pretty beat up on back)
- Long HD pallet forks for 4-in-1 bucket
- Landpride 72" landscape rake with gauge wheels, drop down grader blade, removeable end plates
- Landpride 72" box blade w/scarifers (looks bad but in good shape)
- Freedom Hitches on everything, plus an extra implement section

Mark,

What's the outside width of your rear and front tire sets? What is the width of your 4n1 bucket? Is it a Long or a Bradco/ATI or what?

Cant you salvage any of the implements for use on the Power Trac, as by welding a receiver plate on them compatible with the 3ph.

Glen, I realize you asked this question of the other Mark, but I should think pulling off the 4N1 he has which I think is a 66" and the new tractor uses 72" size buckets would not be so benenficial since he has all the solenoid hookups and the hose customized for his 4310. The 4N1's are so incredible. The plan I want to use is the ATI Bobcat style attachment and then buy the Bobcat bucket. It is very heavy duty. The Bobcat attachments are pretty reasonable too. I believe it was you that said you would not have a use for a 4N1, well, they make 6N1's too. Perhaps that would be right up your ally. Rat...

Glenn - The rear tire track is 78", I think. Or very close to it. I can measure it for you, if you like.

I'm not sure about the front tire track, but it's very close to stock.

The 4-in-1 is a 60". I got the narrower one to maximize the lift capacity.

I can salvage pretty much all of the implements except the augers but, as I said, the guy who's interested wants it all. I'm not really interested in selling the blade and boxscraper, but if it makes the deal, I will. The price without them is $42k.

Wellington Pizza: I've read your previous posts. I'm interested in the PT425. I'm a little concerned with the lift height of 52" clearing the side of my pickup. Do you have any experience with this?

MossRoad:
I don't think the pt425 would be good for loading a pickup, but you may wan't to check out the 2422. This is made to load a pickup. Good luck
Rich
