If it's by weight, don't forget to fill her up with Ethyl, I mean WATER.

I still have my 03’ Silverado crew and I intend to keep her going as she’s never let me down. This summer, she’ll get a new paint job, new/refurbished interior, and a complete engine do-over. Tranny rebuild was done last year.

I can’t help it if it’s also a Quadrasteer.

I had a 99’ Ford Ranger XLT which was an awesome truck. I had to trade up for the Chevy.

I can empathize. Bought this GMC Terravan new in 1976 and drove it for 32-1/2 years...saw most of the United States through its windshield. A lot of memories.........
Never knew they made 4WD vans, was that a special order/custom job?

The venerable Tahoe and the Jeep we traded her in on.

I have a 93 F150 4wd that was my daily driver for 17 years and has been huntin/play truck since. It has been great. The transmission has never been touched, valve covers have never been off, original alternator. I have no intention of letting her go. I drove it to my college graduation and honeymoon. My oldest daughter learned to drive in it and soon my youngest will learn to drive in it. Old blue is part of the family.

My Dad had a 72 Delta 88. I got it around 79, then bought another car, and his GF drove it down in PA for a while. Finally it came back, and we put a wooden flatbed on it and used it around the farm for a few years but it wasn't very practical. Kind of like trying to find an old friend a job to do. Sad day when they came and took it for scrap. Few V8s sounded like that ROCKET!

Weird thing is. Virtually any dream I have involving a car is ALWAYS THAT CAR! And I'm always worried about the condition of the bald tires. My Dad got some Big old well used "L" Cadilac tires from a friend. I remember they rubbed the wheelwells slightly. Nice White stripes though.

The Tahoe with 200k probably had more life left then the Jeep transmission is good for. Big downgrade IMO.

Gee, thanks. You sure know how to make someone feel good. Lol

The Tahoe had a broken front axle. I was ready to buy a used axle (for the second time) to fix it, but it was time. Last time I pulled one from a 1500 and relied it for $1500. This time would have been more.

FYI- the Jeep has a 8yr, 100k power train and 8 yr 100k bumper to bumper warranty.

Not exactly a trade in BUT
We had a 2009 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI (diesel). It took about 3 months to get it after ordering it.
I'd attach a picture but this new forum attachment method is a PITA.
I'd routinely get 42 MPG despite the problem I had with it. It drove too fast.
Normally I'm a poky driver. That darned car just wanted to go fast. I often drove it between Ms and Va. There's a section between Knoxville and Chattanooga that it would insist on doing 90. Never got stopped but think I came close.

Then because of "Dieselgate" I had to sell it back to VW for a nice sum.
