OMG the dreaded electronics vs our very mechanical YM's, you have access to any english diagrams for that.Thinking you have some electronic controls on your 3 point. If that is the case, it is over my head.
there are 2 solenoids that are associated with it. One of them seems to make a clicking sound when I pull the lever or joystick to like raise the 3ph and stops when like lowering it. Maybe the issue; but, it may also be a stuck rod or valve in the system. I’m just trying to get feedback on where I should go next. I have been reading all the posts of others that have 3ph problems in trying to narrow down the problem. Any insights by anyone that has this model or similar would be greatly appreciated.Thinking you have some electronic controls on your 3 point. If that is the case, it is over my head.
I have a parts manual with good diagrams but it’s in Japanese. It is helpful in be able to know what to expect in case I disassemble anything.Have not found an English version yet.OMG the dreaded electronics vs our very mechanical YM's, you have access to any english diagrams for that.
I also have a 1500 D with a Bush Hog 1846 qt loader on it and do like the simplicity of the non-electric machines. Did a repair on the 3ph valve already on that one with just replacing some o-rings. Easy fix.OMG the dreaded electronics vs our very mechanical YM's, you have access to any english diagrams for that.
Were's the challenge in that.I have a parts manual with good diagrams but it’s in Japanese. It is helpful in be able to know what to expect in case I disassemble anything.Have not found an English version yet.
LOL...Sounds like you love the challenge
If you take a picture of a manual page, you may be able to translate the writing on it.I have a parts manual with good diagrams but it’s in Japanese. It is helpful in be able to know what to expect in case I disassemble anything.Have not found an English version yet.
I think a F26 maybe pretty close to being the same.Have you been able to determine if any other models may be similar to expand a search.
Fuse is good, disconnected all plugs and cleaned and reconnected. All electrical is working. Everything is working normal on the machine except the 3ph. I think it may be a jammed rod or valve to the 3ph. Found out that the hydraulic ram for the UFO had the rod bent and the previous owner had it fixed; leads me to believe that the 3point may have been backed into something that bent that rod on the hydraulic ram so hard that the rod that operates the lift got jammed in the cylinder. I’m going to get into checking that out here in a few days. Got other things to get to first. Will update when I check that out.Is that a fuse holder on the left of the 2nd picture? Did you disconnect all the connectors to clean them?
The solenoids that are on the top (to the left in the pic) has those buttons and yes they work-the ufo cylinder hooked to one of the 3ph arms on the right side. The other 2 solenoids are one above the other on the right side of the housing. Those 2 should operate the 3ph lift arms; one of those has a clicking sound coming from it( I think it’s the bottom one) when you pull up on the 3ph lever or use the toggle. The 2 solenoids that you saw have buttons on the ends of them, push them in one at a time while the tractor is running.
They are supposed to raise & lower the 3 point. ( they are hard to push)
How about the knob that controls the drop speed of the 3 point is it screwed all the way out?
Does your 265 have a UFO control flip up panel on the right hand side, it has knobs and buttons on it?
The solenoids on the right in the pic(that you can see clearly) at the top of the pic; they work the hydraulic cylinder for the UFO. There are 2 other solenoids at the bottom of he pic(hard to see) just by where you see the curve of the steel line. There’s one above the other there with just wires(no buttons)going to them; and there is power going to them.I’ll try and get a better pic.The solenoid on the right hand side of the picture (the grey tube) has a black rubber button on each end.
If you push one in the 3 point should move.
Also check every wire to see if they are grounded, that solenoid will not work if the ground is so so ..
ALyooper, does your tractor have a plug in at the left back for plugging in the UFO tiller, under the tool box on the left?
I have one plug that goes no where and that is probably what your asking. There are also another 2 wires that I don’t know what there for. But all electrical wires have power and everything is working as it should, I assume.
