The back pressure depends on the pump and the static water level. A 1HP, 10 GPM pump with a static water level of 32' will have a back pressure of 150 PSI. A 1HP, 7 GPM pump would need the static water level to be at least 192' deep to stay below the 150 PSI back pressure needed for the CSV125.

The CSV1A can take a lot more back pressure than the CSV125. Just let me know the GPM of your 1HP pump and the static water level and I will figure it for you.
